BioWare got pretty much all the alien species wrong anyway. It's good that we get a soft reboot now... but I guess we'll see all the old species in MP again.
What do you expect out of multiplayer for MEA?

If there are RNG chests again I hope there is another currency that let's you eventually buy something that you want. If I really want to max a certain gun or kit first I should be able to have a little control over that. You can still have the x amount of credits after each game and the RNG packs, but let us earn shards, weapon and armor fragments, or something that we can accumulate and cash in for something we want every so often. Maybe if you got a biotic medal you got an amp fragment, or if you got a headshot medal you got a weapon fragment IDK. I wouldn't care if it took a while, at least I'd have a general idea of when I'm going to get my new Claymore upgrade or unlock a kit I want to try out, and not be at the complete mercy of RNG.
I don't like gear and consumables being ranged from 1-4 or 5, but that's a minor grievance. Maybe a platinum+ mode that changes the wave cap from 10 to 25 or something would be cool too. I think PVP would be a nightmare to balance, so I'd prefer they stick to co-op and horde modes. I enjoyed ME3's MP for a little while. I can only play it in bursts because horde mode is kind of static/dull to me compared to PVP, but it is fun and enjoyable when I'm in the mood for it.

1000+ hours to unlock everything without microtransactions.
Unchallengeable sync-kills.
Bizarre "rebalancing" choices.
A Claymore would also be nice.

1) Fix the MP store to buy what you want -- If not at first, then make this an unlockable feature after a certain challenge completion. I don't mind the random packs idea, but there needs to be something more!
So after a challenge completion (For example: Extract 10 times on platinum or Extract 20 times on gold), you open up a range of new packs with a pack that has a GUARANTEED ULTRA RARE WEAPON in it. And charge something not stupid, like 250K for it.
(The current average credits required to get an Ultra Rare is 660,000 after you've maxed all rare (gold) weapons, which is just complete BS!)
2) Program the game to keep a log file of the bottom-right corner ticker which shows each player's enemy kills, deaths, revives, etc. so you can see stats of the game afterward.
And to go further: Use that log file to generate a "last game breakdown" section on the multiplayer main page (not in game lobbies of course) to see summary of kills, revives, etc. it will also show how team-mates did (some people I am sure won't like that). But I want to know how many Phantoms/Praetorians/Primes/Brutes/Banshees I killed every game (although Andromeda probably won't have those, but still).

I see somebody didn't visit the ME3 MP section of the forums while support was still going on.
Half of what we talked about was stuff needing a nerf.
Of the remainder, half was vanguards needing a buff, and the other half was unadulterated crudeness.
Or at least, that was how my post count went.

Being under the feeling that SP is all drama and Bioware should just put something out and focus on the MP, I expect the game to be pretty expansive. I'm looking for that same basic formula, but I am also hoping to be able to buy exactly what item you want for a heavily inflated price. I expect many more maps at launch and the same amount of characters...more abilities available to each character and more customization to them.
