As a woman, I don't want to have to "convince" a guy/LI that he is right for me which I've felt was a little bit the case with some of the former LI's, either that or they were too eager. I'd like it to be a balance. I want the guy to be the pursuer and I don't want to come of as cheap while flirting with him, cause I have too much pride for that in real life. So someone who has the guts to take initiatives, brave and doesn't play hard to get and I almost don't care about ranks anymore like I used to xD

How about the aggressor instead of the "pursuer"? Just curious. ![]()

Companion Ideas?
Sure. How about AI companions? Not the EDI type. Actual AI characters that learn as we play with them. There is enough computing power, today, to handle AI Neural Network learning algorithms. In other words, our team is made up basic AI characters capable of learning as we follow the main / side quest missions.
How? First, start off with some basic character traits. Then, during development have the characters play with / against each other using using a small farm of PCs. The purpose is to build up the characters' intelligence to a certain Baseline. With the character tables built, incorporate them into the game including the AI Neural Network code for further enhancements as the player progresses through the story.
Obviously, there is a Word Budget / voice dialogue limit. However, the end result should be entertaining because our team will be made up of individual characters that are NOT linear scripted. I realize that Bio's forte excludes Machine Learning experts. However, for a future game and with Bio's reputation for creating engaging characters, this approach may become very appealing.
At worst, our team ought to become deadly fighters during combat and / or the computer controlled characters would show strong tactical and unscripted awareness of combat techniques. At best, romancing a LI that learns could be very revealing

Someone that looks not as bad as DAI cast. It's a god damn future after all.
Yes this.
Also no wild sexualities within most of the cast and flamboyancy. Joker an Edi were acceptable. DAI went overboard with so many of the cast being completely out there. You had a guy who got off on Dragons, Transgenders, Lezzies. In DA's world you'd think this was the majority of people, and that plain old heterosexuality was the minority. I prefer how sexuality was handled in Mass Effect. Kaidan & Cortez were bi characters, but they didn't act like queens like Dorian does. Their sexuality didn't become their personalities. Jack was very sexual, but not to the point of it being comical as with Iron Bull. I'm afraid more than anything that this will happen to the MEA cast now that Bioware panders to the Tumblr fans.

Agreed.
I left too many DA:I characters in the tavern. Kaidan I killed off the bat and Cortez was forgotten in the ship's hangar.
ME:A will probably continue with "let's give everybody a romance option" but this time we get a lezzie equivalent of a Dorian.
Whichever way the wind blows, I'd like to see a strong story, choices that make a difference with feedback down the road telling us how the Pathfinder is doing.
I fear, however, that Bio

Since this is BioWare game - a flamboyant male companion who "attacks" beautiful men wouldn't be much of a suprise this time...

I bet 1,000,000 Shekels on Commander Shepard being a squadmate, and romanceable in ME:A, & you can't prove me wrong mates.

This would be cool, though my mind instantly jumped to Fallout 4 andI would like to have a son in game or during the trip to Andramada and he will be a party member - PC in a future game
I could also see this happening:

Out of all of those ideas, I love the Son idea the most. A lot could be done with that aspect.
<<<<<<<<<<(0)>>>>>>>>>>
But it won't. The game is not about a son.
The game is about humanity's hardships for survival... finding a good home, growing, building strengths, making allies and fighting off the locals. We are the North American Indians to the indigenous populations. Humanity lacks the numbers, industry, resources and tech to survive hostile environments be it intelligent (Khet) or otherwise.
A son, from a story PoV, is a distraction. You'd get a few cinematics maybe a few choices regarding your son/daughter upbringing but that's it. It would be a side show....Unless,
ME:A has a sequel where the descendant of the Pathfinder gets a trait boost or two from decisions made while growing up and that the boost becomes pivotal in certain events down the line.
