I'm wondering if that's Nick in the end and if it is what is happening with him D: Whatever it is, it doesn't look good!

Stellaris in 4 days, get hype

I haven't played real-time strategy since Age of Empires III but Stellaris has me really excited. With that, Uncharted 4 and XCOM 2 all coming out next week I'm pretty much set for the next month or three.

Edit: meant XCOM 2's DLC.

UGH!  When are they going to port XCOM 2 to console?  It hurts my soul that I can't lose hundreds of hours to this game.....

I'd be surprised if they do at all. The stated reason for dropping consoles was so the team could focus on what they were familiar with. Reworking something to go on a platform it wasn't designed for isn't always easy.

while I have little personal interest, I'm curious about the next Battlefield game being set in WW1 since that game receives so very little attention (for a variety of historical reasons I am sure).

However were it to be realistic, the standard game would play out like this.

Battlefield 1 trailer for the curious, and because it's pretty:

Seven Nation Army was a surprise.

Shooters trying to reinvent themselves is always entertaining. Hopefully they'll have a Peter O'Toole skin for multiplayer.

I've become slightly addicted to playing Smite (I know, Steel, I know), but it's just that there's so many different gods to play as, it's kind of fun to explore.

The fanbase is still obnoxious, though.

I have been playing Overwatch. Online multiplayers aren't exactly my thing, but it's quite fun and I love designs of characters. Too bad the open beta is over tomorrow, I doubt I'll actually buy the game at least not while it's on full price anyways.

I love Tracer's design most, but I suck at playing with her so I mostly play as Symmetra, with some Lucio, Bastion and Mei mixed in :)

I wasn't a fan of the trailer music, it just doesn't fit the time frame

I suspect they chose Seven Nation Army because that basically sums up a World War. And the main players in WW1 were Britain, France, Germany, the US, Italy, Russia and Belgium... so it really was a dust-up between seven nation's armies. ;)

(Yes, I know Commonwealth nations and ANZAC played a significant role too, but most of the time they ended up being consolidated with the British forces. Oddly enough, my great-grandfather joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force, rather than the British army)

I'm not sure that music always needs to fit the time frame, though that can be great when it is done well.

Except the lyric is "a seven nation army couldn't hold me back" not "seven nation's separate armies and their integrated forces from considerably more than seven nations were holding each other back for several years".  :P

Also you're still missing a few. The war started because of Austria-Hungary and Serbia having a tiff, it expanded to include the  Arab uprising against the Ottoman Empire. Can you count Russia twice because of the Provisional Government? There's probably more I'm forgetting.

I love Tracer's design most

Aviator chic.

You should listen to him. It might surprise you by being reasonably fun. There are some gods that are so much fun to play.

Just whatever you do, avoid actually talking with most of the player base, and stick with arena type matches until you really get the hang of a god.

I think you'd like playing Odin.

So I've tried my hand at Smite, and it went rather poorly, I don't think I really know how to play it, I'll have to get my brother to help me

You seemed to pick it up fairly quickly after that.

DOOM was released yesterday for the PS4. Sasquatch and I are working out a time share program. So far, the game is really cool. My only complaint if I were nitpicking was the textures on flesh (i.e the demons) look a little unfinished. However, Sasquatch said that the controls were smooth and responsive, as well as intutive. I'll let you guys know non-spoilery stuff as time goes on.

I gotta say the PC's armor looks like Master Chief's armor and Samus' armor had a love child. :P

Does anyone here play ME3 on PC?  I've had the games on here for a while and kinda want to play some MP, though sadly I won't have all my goodies that I had on Xbox.

I play on PC and can be poked to play when I'm signed on. My manifest on there is pretty bare, all my big toys are on PS3.

So Uncharted 4 is the most gorgeous game I have played this year. Seriously, it was a fun ride. Naughty Dog put a lot of love into that game.
