If you have Skyrim on PC and are curious or concerned about how it's going to work with the current slate of mods, I encourage reading this post. There aren't answers, but there is some food for thought.

I am a bit dissapointed with Fallout 4, according to Todd Howard Nuka World is the last DLC for the game. Kinda feel like they are moving on from it way to fast. Skyrim had over a years support when it launched and got two very solid expansions. Atleast we'll have the Skyrim remaster in the fall, looking forward to that. Like the free upgrade if you already own the PC version with DLC.

Ah it's going to be last, that's kinda sad. In other hand I had no idea how many to expect so 6 is quite nice even if most are workshop one's, but of course more the merrier. Hopefully Nuka World will be more story-based. Maybe even sth fun like Citadel on ME3 :)

Hmm, I think I have Legendary edition of Skyrim, but I can't play it with ultra graphics, mostly somewhere around medium and mods that change graphics make it lag too much.. so I hope that free upgrade is not forced one- I doubt my PC would run remastered version. Nice thought though.

She really doesn't.

1- She does look realistic,

2 - When you're making an unrealistic character you don't make someone beautiful you create the impression of beauty and people fill in the blanks with their mind, it's why cartoon women are so attractive. When you accurately try to recreate a woman you can either give her a heart shaped face and a cute nose or put up with people debating how attractive she is.

And all those women you find attractive don't get judged by you taking a random close up picture of their face and scrutinizing it for five minutes, you see all of them in person.

1- Mhh, she gives exactly the same vibe. she really doesn't for you. She does enough for me and by far personally. I immediately thought Lara croft. i've seen the same thoughts from other posters.  You disagree, well, that's fine by me. But she doesn't stand out alone as far as i am concerned, like for example the female protagonist of Remember me or Miror eyes. This ponytail from Lara was really iconic from the last game, they really didn't need to do something close for the fem/ Ryder. They certainly could have chosen something else. But then, i'm not really disappointed, because I'm going to play a CC Ryder.

2 -  I didn't need more than a single glance in one second to immediately think that that Asari wasn't attractive. I don't know about you, but I don't scrutinize for fives minutes a picture to know or to be aware of if a female character is attractive or not to me. it comes immediately and automatically. I see an attractive woman or a female character, my body reacts alone without my brain ordering me anything. The only thing that is stated is " SHE IS HOT. " Feminine and elegant faces have particularly big effects on me in real life for example. And when I say feminine faces, I don't mean makeup, I mean the features and the alchemy that automatically occurs on me, making me blush or fascinated within the minute. Exactly the same as some masculine faces can have immediate and big effects on gay men and straight women.

I don't think anyone needed more than a few seconds to have an opinion. I'm also pretty sure that seeing the trailer was enough.  Do you need yourself 5 minutes, scrutinizing a character to know if you find him / her someone attractive ? There are some times where a character can grow on me, but most of time, attractiveness hits me immediately. Did I need five minutes to find Liara attractive the first time i met her in the game wiithout never having seen her before ? Did I need to scrutinize Vivienne with the first picture of her ? Not at all. And not even for a single female character. I don't decide, it happens. So it has nothing to do with scrutinizing a picture in my opinion.
---
Also, on internet, no matter the popularity of any Li in any game, there will be always people disagreeing over tastes, so I'm not sure that people debating over how attractive a character is, is really a good point about realism. Having flaws in a face can be pretty much one of the only objective facts that can be called " realistic ". But then, you can have a very pretty face, with minor flaws, still seen by most as very hot. Again, the fact that there isn't much debate over a character is hardly a sign that it isn't realistic.

There isn't debate around Cullen attractiveness, and yet, i'd call him realistic personally. I've seen men who are that hot in real life.  A celibrity that comes to my mind, Dean Winchester, or Ian Somerholder. There is no debate around them.

Like i said, i'm fine with any design, but i won't agree with the idea that realistic face =/ hot face, popular, judged attractive by most.

I'm super excited that TWD Season 3 is coming this fall.  Although I'm so nervous for Clem.  I'm really way too invested in her and the more seasons that she's in, the more likely that she'll die.  I want to imagine that she's happily fortified away and raising little AJ on her own.  I don't need her back out in the fray where she's going to give me agita!

^ OMG I hate/love it when characters give those feelings. You think, "Oh, they're playing up Character because they're going to kill them off and remain young on fan tears!" OR, "Hm, Character hasn't been around in a while, maybe they'll decide they don't matter and kill them off to bring in someone new."

GAH either scenario is horrible.

Also...

Confirmed by Mac Walters in an interview with Geoff Keighley, not only is Ryder the official name for the protagonist for Mass Effect: Andromeda, but the character at the end of the latest trailer is the protagonist Ryder. There are also more Ryder’s in the story.

So make the Ryder you don't choose in to the antagonist? That is what i am hoping for atleast. Still nice to see that they are bringing back the family element. I always did like that part of DA:II, but they could have done a better job with it, and here is their chance.

Also this makes me very sad - http://www.polygon.c...elder-scrolls-6

Is that "antagonist" idea coming from somewhere specific, or just a thing you'd like to see in general? Really, the only thing I thought of when I read it was family for the PC.

Just something i want, and what i was hoping for with Fallout 4 actually, only there it would be your spouse. I think it could work, and could also be quite Interesting. As the villain doesn't have to show up that much during a game (see Saren), so there wouldn't be that many extra lines to record. It will probably end up more like Dragon Age II though, but nothing wrong with that, now they have the chance to really nail it.

Well, Fallout 4 did give us;

Spoiler

Yeah... I might have went on a bit of tangent there, but it bugged me that Bethesda really didn't think of or take advantage of the story possibilities the opening to Fallout 4 gave us.

Here's to hoping that Bioware does better if they really are introducing a family system into ME and manage to refine it more than they did with DA2.

So your and other poster's vibes are enough to base an argument that she's an uninteresting character on? They aren't the same woman, so your argument relies on your inability to perceive differences between two things which are different. You are essentially arguing that your perception is someone else's failing.

Lara Croft doesn't have a monopoly on brown ponytails.

Missing the point. You're comparing real live women you see at a variety of distances, moving, in the flesh, in a natural environment with a few seconds of a 2D woman's face on a screen. I said five minutes because I assumed you'd spent some time think the subject of your complaints given how much you'd written about them, but if not I guess that explains why you think ponytail equals Lara Croft and that Asari is masculine.

Look, you are entilted to disagree with my opinion, that is based on what i've seen. But please, stop with the pedantic asertions and tone, it doesn't impress me. Your argument is basically I don't like your opinion about a protagonist. Nothing more than that. I don't think she looks iconic, I don't think she looks that interesting, so far, with the trailer. This is my opinion. Lara doesn't have a monopoly on ponytail, nope, but the vibe is still strong despite the minor differences with the two characters. it would have been welcome to change at least the hair color or anything else.

As for your second point, I'm just rolling my eyes. You are really trying to make it unnecessarily more complicated than what it is, or " intellectual ", which it isn't I assure you. i've seen 2D women pictures that I found immediately attractive in a few seconds too in a trailer, that doesn't change anything. It's the same effect. Especially when i was a child or adolescent playing video games.

You also obviously ignored the fact that I only judged what I've seen on the trailer, and that I claimed we should wait to see more ? Which is... implying that I am aware that we should see more pics and more than a few seconds.... with better environments... before a definitive judgement ? That my opinion wasn't more than what I've seen ? Maye it'll change in the future ? Maybe I'll find her attractive with another snippet of 5 seconds ?  Instead of trying to caricature what I say, just read it.

We could talk about seeing women on pictures, that don't move if you want to. ( joke for myself )

Yeah, I think they made the mirror CC first, and then build the story around it. It felt like they wanted to tie up any loose ends as fast as possible, and missed lots of opportunities. Especially since their goal of making you attached to your family fell flat on its face, because a 5 minute segment won't dictate how you feel in a 100+ hour game. I'm still headcanoning around that marriage, which locked me into a semi-defined character without having really any payoff.

So... Kratos ended up in Skyrim?

I guess he ran out of the Greek pantheon and turned to the Nine Divines and Daedric Princes in Tamriel? Actually, the more I think about it, Kratos really would fit into the Elder Scrolls universe.

According to Santa Monica Studios its a reboot of sorts, but it is what i always wanted for the God of War franchise. Take it somewhere new, the formula works, just change things up and show us different settings. I quite like how it felt more like The Last of Us, atleast in the way it was presented.

Also it kind of gave me the feels, might have been the dialogue, or just the stunning visuals and the orchestra playing to the demo, not sure.

Kratos would absolutely fit in, he is like half Nord and half Orsimer. There has to be a mod of that, surely?
