Every tiny piece of footage them playing their Andromeda builds was using contollers - even when using PC platform. Honestly, I wouldn't hang my hopes high for that. I believe it might be an alien concept for the current dev generation. In a few years there will be devs who only understand touchpads.
I want proper Keyboard and Mouse support.

They promoted those controller-specific features so much before release, I was really confused when I got the game and the much-touted Advance Time button just wasn't there.
But then I learned that playing with a controller coupled pausing with the tactical camera, which seemed to me to be a terrible idea, and I was suddenly quite glad not to have those features.
I tried both the kbm setup and the xbox controller. This was the main reason I heavily prefered the kbm. Pause and play on the controller felt like a chore.

It's quite pointless buying a mid range PC for same/a little more price of a console just to have a few more pixels, the whole point of having a PC is to push games to the max,60-200 FPS,4K,21:9,etc.
This assumes that a console is desirable assuming similar price/performance. Why would that be?

There are other good reasons. Customizable inputs. Modding. It's quite pointless buying a mid range PC for same/a little more price of a console just to have a few more pixels, the whole point of having a PC is to push games to the max,60-200 FPS,4K,21:9,etc.
I first learned to play shooters using a mouse+flightstick. I could still do that on a PC if I wanted, but try something that esoteric on a console.

Lets face facts the UI for DA:I was pretty crappy and it was meant for a controller I want bioware to take there time and make it a better UI for PC players like my self.
Great idea, however, I'd like money to fall out of the sky too, but I'm not expecting it.

It's a reasonable request sense the game got pushed back. {for the Nintendo NX}.

I just want the PC version to have native X1 controller (or DS4) compatibility this time round, modding the original trilogy for controller shouldn't have needed to be a thing, so weird they left that out.

Every Dragon Age game has been on consoles and yet they only ran into "only 4 buttons can be mapped" on the third game?
Seems legit.
This. What i really don't understand is why controllers are so damn basic. After playing WoW for 7 yrs+- with KBM with the mouse having 15 buttons and any number of kbd macros, plus the mouse precision. I don't see why this isn't built into new controllers. I mention all this as it was what was going though my mind when DAI only gave me 4 options... I have no preference from KBM to Controller, but if you're going to make a game to work best on a controller, make a better controller. I suspect we'll see MMO type controllers for consoles, at least Bioware and like companies should be pushing for this. I miss having the action of 20 different macros and using different rotations (i don't miss WoW at all, good riddance).
Even better: One controller to rule them all (leave the KBD to chatting). More (mappable) buttons and a touchpad on the thumb for precision events. Why consoles avoid button mapping is odd to me, all they need is a simple -reset to default- option.

I wanna make a bit deal out of it, but TBH it's not like I ever felt the lack of hotkeys ruined ME2 or ME3 for me. It was slightly annoying but it's not the end of the world considering we still got to use all abilities during gameplay without ever pausing and the mouse-sensitivity and acceleration felt really, really good in all 3 games.

Frostbite engine has been around for along time I don't think it was a learning curve. this was a case of console parity.
It really wasn't. They made a host of now infamous claims regarding the PC platform that were patently false. Bioware haven't taken the PC seriously since Origins. It's not just controller input either, it's things like menu optimization. Basically the taking advantage of our superior hardware. The PC is once more being taken seriously by many developers. It remains to be seen if Bioware will finally be one of them with this game.

What games are you talking about where the developer is taking the PC seriously? For aside from X-Com where they decided they weren't going to release on consoles, most games are nearly identical on the consoles and the PC or they are a disaster such as Arkham Knight.

RottR has been taken seriously in my opinion.
How did they take it more seriously then BioWare does? I don't see that much of a difference between the console version of Rise of the Tomb Raider and the PC release. The only real difference is graphical options between the two releases and BioWare has a lot of customization for Dragon Age: Inquisition's graphical choices as well.

Look at this comparison between the X-Box and PC version. Read the article and then look at the picture comparison.

So to take the PC version seriously all you have to do is have graphical options? For that is all I really saw in that article was that they could run a lot more graphical options on the PC version over the XB1 version, which Dragon Age: Inquisition did as well. The difference that I see between Dragon Age: Inquisition which didn't take the PC seriously and Rise of the Tomb Raider which did take the PC seriously was the art style and to me at least doesn't indicate them taking one platform more seriously then another.
Edit:
I took a look at the review for Dragon Age: Inquisition on that website and they take time to mention that they liked the fidelity of the game. So I am struggling to figure out what people want in a game when they say "respects the PC". For me a game like Arkham Knight wouldn't respect the PC because it just didn't work on the PC or other games that are capped at 30fps on the PC because the developer didn't change anything about the game before porting it.
The review if you are interested

That's a good question, and I imagine that you will get different answers from different people on it, but if you take DA:I as an example again,
personally I just felt that gameplay on KB+M was very a very awkward imprecise and somewhat buggy affair.
I mean, when DA:O feels better to play on KBM than DA:I, you just know that you have a problem.

Why? DAO's controls were excellent. Give DAO a proper free-roaming camera and it basically has all the KBM control features I could want.I mean, when DA:O feels better to play on KBM you just know that you have a problem.
