It's amazing how some people get so bent out of shape - I made a few people cuss this weekend playing MP.  Of course, I also made a few good friends too - what with all of the headbutting and facestomping.

Man, I have gotten some funny hatemail before, but I can't compete with that. DAMN.

 

I only got hatemail playing AC Brotherhood, but it was funny. I'll share if enough people want it, if not, I can PM links.

As long as I get to kite Preatorians and Banshees and Brutes and Pyros and Rocket Troopers, not help with Ravagers, and stand close during Banshees warps (so I can get you hit by them), and get you lots of extra Scion grenades and splash damage.....   oh, and spam shockwave.

 

At least that's how Co-op felt this weekend.

I get hate mail a lot, but nothing as funny as that. It's usually while playing Battlefield though. People don't take kindly to being blown up with C4, sniped at long distance or knifed in the back repeatedly... who knew. Once or twice I've received hate mail from Mass Effect... basically every time I cause a squad wipe by possessed a-bombs or by locking people in the reactor, which happens... a lot. Collector Reactor games are like heaven for me.

What also was really funny about that revenge of the sith game that was on the original xbox and ps2------- the g-damn game was released 2 months before the damn movie came out.....talk about a spoiler....

Have you ever thought BSN should make a MP movie? Like choose classes and build characters and record game play of their struggle against the Reapers. Of course, it'd have to be a silent movie with subtitles... unless we convince QMR to do Quarian voice overs, for example. And I_Never_Extract as a member of the team who tragically/heroically dies before extraction.

True, but still. That video reminds me of a time on the PS3 when it was Firebase Reactor/Reaper. A guy in the lobby had been a total dick over the mic and it got to the extraction wave and he ran out of gel. Everyone else was dead because of me locking them in the reactor, and when he went down I kept half reviving him over and over again while doing a little dance until he bled out... one of the times I've received hate mail.

Whenever I see a PUG who has been a dick or played stupidly, or if they're a toaster... I always get the urge just to stand over them and watch them bleed out. So I do, on occasion. Well, a lot. Always with Juggernauts.

^ yup. I realize that some people are just plain bad at this game or just inexperienced and don't know what they are doing, but some are pure trolls. Like when 3 of them bleed out on an escort or hack objective 10 seconds into the wave and leave me alone to do it (which is basically impossible at that point) So I just run around the map and shoot at their corpses.

Mmm. There is nothing a pug can do to suprise me anymore.
Conversely I don't waste much energy on them bad players. Simply wanna get to W11.

Trolling means more energy . I only invest trolling to the ones I know very well and respect as a way of comic relief and with set limits. The world is too small to make unnecessary enemies.

If we can also convince whoever did the voiceover for the La Volus Résistance to do the Volus voiceovers, I'll watch and endorse this product.
