I'd recommend not talking about politics unless you're trying to get the thread closed.

Was just a random comment, not a topic of conversation. :P

I doubt many would agree with my politics but who gives a ****. I don't dislike people because they disagree with me, convince of your point other than name calling. When that starts, you've lost. But if desiring freedom and no government intrustion in my life makes me a sinner, then condemn me to hell.
In all seriousness, when Mal played we got into some heavy discussions, but never got mad at each other even though we were on total opposite ends. I never converted him and he never converted me.

I miss Mal. One of the best gifts BSN (and ME3) ever gave to me. I didn't always agree with him either, but I always enjoyed his company.

So.. He is the one BSNer I want to play with or meet most right now. He is sorely missed.

Sad but true. Most people are incapable of remaining civil when talking about politics. :pinched:

Now when it comes to a BSNer I would want to play with? Hmmm... I've played with a lot of BSNers back in the good old days and it was great! I never got to play with Limbs in ME3 though :C

I think it's fair to not remain civil when it comes to politics. Could change the world. It's a big issue.

I don't insult people who I'm in a political discussion with, but I like insulting politicians. :P Weeds of the galaxy and all that.

I used to play regularly with BSNers... now I don't so much. I had two games with OWA last week (and should hopefully have more this weekend)... had two games with LightRobot the other day. So you know, I'm getting there. :P

Deerber

Awwww, you!

Would definitely not miss the chance if there ever was ;)

Everybody wants to play with Deerber.

(Yes, I am aware of how this sounds, and have no intention of changing it)

Well, I don't know who this everybody is, but they just need to get a PC :D

and yes, in that sense too

I forgot those even existed xD

Lol, I remember playing some games with Leland on PC and I think there wasn't a single class he wasn't using the Venom on :pinched:

Mmm. It's easier to move from console to pc than the other way around.

I underestimated how a) different linear mouse pushing on a flat surface was from b ) analog stick with angular rotation velocity and acceleration.

Fully understand a PC masterracer not going through that humiliation curve.

That's funny. For me it was the exact opposite. I felt it was easier to go from pc to console. Couldn't go back to pc now I think.

You silly - I was talking about myself.

You should now respond that you're a pacifist - then submit a contradiction filled thesis on that - but finally explode in a great show of confetti when fellows scratch that thin veneer.

that was cryptic again, sorry N7. Most of the time, I have to say predictable stuff that keeps opposite sides of a table happy. BSN is my alterego comic relief - where I may encrypt messages so that it hit only some ears. I can imagine how painful it might be without a hint- sincerest apologies to all those in advance and in retrospect.

Absolutely. I can only console myself with the hope that Operation Mindfuck requires his attention and/or he is busy at work on the follow up to Principia Discordia as we speak. We didn't play many games together, but Eris Herself must have been laughing at the pandemonium we could create together with wave 11 missiles. Good times. Good posts. Sorely missed.

Agreed with you and Al/jmac on dream team potential, and am hoping to get my line fixed tomorrow, so I might even get back on for some games. You don't have to agree on everything to have a great time, and as long as disagreements don't come to violence, they should always be accepted and tolerated.

And at the risk of being accused by our resident psychological profiler of once again attempting to curry favour, I just want to give a shout out to Clyde, who I've encountered on both consoles. Y'all need to play with Clyde, especially if he has the randomiser running, as I can guarantee much hilarity.

The opposite statement would be equally valid, depending entirely on the perspective of the player. Especially if the player happens to be a Kitterhand (Southpaw, Sinister, Cack-Handed Left-hander.)

We live in a world designed in every conceivable way for right-handed people. It appears that approximately 90% of the population thinks the other 10% are the same as them, but just do things primarily with their other hand. It is far from being that simple.  As such it is amusing to note the disproportionate number of high profile Lefties, although I won't stir up any more political debates.

I don't understand why all gamers don't play ME3mp with an X-Box 360/One controller from now on since Mgamerz is the saviour of comfortable gaming on PC too now with that controller mod.

Ya, Mgamerz mod is a godsend.

Any xbox player who didn't get a couple of games in with Magniflyer was also missing out.

Quote this for the sheer amount of truth in all aspects of it. Cordial disagreements and discussions are what make being an adult (and thus taken seriously) worth all the BS that comes with being an adult (all that responsibility and boring stuff).

Clyde is a lot of fun to play with, and always a laugh on-mic. Haven't had many games with him (and now he seems to be playing Lightning Returns, which I couldn't stomach, I can't stand "hero" characters doing the wrong things for the wrong reasons, makes me feel sick).

Using a mouse for extended periods of time is actually physically painful for me, ESPECIALLY with how horrible the designs are getting. I have a big, chunky generic thing that is actually shaped by something a hand would hold/mould.

Personally, I come from a family of lefties and ambidextrous people, though old enough to have been brought up right handed. I still do most things left handed, except mouse/write which are both done with the right hand. So I do understand your difficulty as a lefty, and myself wonder why they are less catered for (A not insignificant proportion of my friends are also left handed).

Because my computer can't even handle ME2 properly? Because we don't want to play with even worse PUGs (because they have bad/messy hacks). If I had ME3 on PC, I would NEVER play with PUGs. Sure, I miss some of the POTENTIAL of PC gaming, however, I don't think it is worth the mess that comes with it.

I need to get my mic fixed, then I'll come play more. I played without it a few days ago and hated it. Besides, I got sucked into the whole FFXIII trilogy years back and I needed to finish it.

I can look past a lot of the flaws in the series. I like that SquareEnix TRIED to get more strategic, FF had devolved into SMASH ENEMY WITH WEAPON RARGH! The graphics of XIII are amazing, Gran Pulse is beautiful, and the game is interesting, I don't even mind the first few chapters, the game is fun enough for me, the problem being the grind devolving into optimizing your kill-speed of turtles. Otherwise, love it. I like that XIII-2 added paradigm tuning, which SHOULD have been a patch/update for XIII, otherwise, broke a lot of things, I still play it, but it isn't as good as XIII for me. I just couldn't get into Lightning Returns it just repulses me story and theme wise. I love Lightning, she was by far my most favourite Character of them all, so I really don't want her being ruined for me.

I'm still waiting for LightRobot to get his butt on the ps3 :D

If you'd spent half of the enregy you use on making hints at me getting to PS3 to get back on PC yourself, then it would be problem solved.  ;)
