..I do understand your difficulty as a lefty, and myself wonder why they are less catered for (A not insignificant proportion of my friends are also left handed).
Most of the world's religions regard us as little devils, even now, so it's not that surprising really. I've never had a meal with my partner's Muslim family, for example, as it's still just too much of a faux pas to eat using my left hand directly without a fork, and I honestly don't have sufficient control over my right hand to be able to use it. My right hand is for greetings and keeping me balanced when I walk. Otherwise it's pretty much purely decorative, apart from pressing the omnibutton etc, which are anchored by my left. I wasn't physically abused by teachers, as my older uncle was, but I was ridiculed regularly, and in particular when being made to write with chalk on a blackboard. And for always being slow, in a variety of contexts. Still, one of the feckers fell off a roof and landed on his head, so I had a vengeful laugh, even if I swear I had nothing to do with it.
I'm used to noticing other Lefties, obviously, and I noticed something very strange when I was in Cuba. Our perceived split is somewhere around 1 in 10, but over there more than half of the people I saw writing were doing so with their left hand. And I spent a few days in hospital so had little to do but watch people writing. I have no real theories as to why it might be, but it was quite fascinating to feel like I wasn't in a minority for a change.
You can also play with a Dual Shock 3 & 4 now too (just download the X-Box controller drivers).
I was about to remind you how much the 360 controller plays havoc with my arthritic thumb, but then you posted this. Interesting. Something to ponder, though for the time being I don't have much of a computer - only an i3 processor, so I won't be troubling Origin in the immediate future.
