We agree on that PC-one for me3   Tho , I have to say mea:culpa mea : maxima culpa, since I did use the mouse before that. Anyway - I used that PC statement just to relativize his crimes to human kind to other ongoing ones.

 

Interesting question tho - is it possible for David to really switch-off totally from this all - just because a someone else decided to spoil his  fun?

Yep, the net goes slow or fluctuates ridiculously here during the peak tv hours of the plebs.

Currently, I/we will host only when the connection's better either during the day, or late evening (like after 9-10PM GMT), out of common courtesy - there's no point in putting anyone through a laggy game, when you have a chance to a more enjoyable one another time. And still can't please everyone, it is known.

There are inconsistencies between any connections - I've had bad games even on solid superhyperdyper fiberobtic cable connections.

It's a different matter altogether, if I masochistically put myself alone through lags. I can take my chances on any pug host, on my own responsibility, and sometimes get lucky - and if else fails, I just play that one game on the laggy one and L2 git gud.

 

I was able to go Pugging last night alone by myself, (7 mbps down, 8 up is fine for just one of us, but I won't host on that). I did get in some horrorlag games and frameloss ones, too, which is more common than I'd prefer  ...and no way in héll I'm deliberately playing on Penguin host, after what you've told us.
