I wouldn't be so pessimistic if I were you, I heard a lot of different opinions.
Seems to me like critics are butchering it while the audience seems to like it overall.
You should go see it and make a thread about it, you'll figure out a way to link the two.
That's what I heard too but maybe because I went with that mindset, it wasn't all so bad! I didn't really wanna go but went out of boredom with a friend. Tbh I like Batfleck despite some of the negative reviews he's getting. I thought he did a good job and honestly I like the new voice of batman to the strangulated version in the dark night series. Also the combat is way more fast paced and batman does kick some serious ass here.
As for the downside, there were a few typical Znyder moments where he really dragged through a couple moments unnecessarily and they fucked up at a few points. But overall I personally found it fun and not as bad as everyone's saying. Hell, it's definitely better than Avengers 2 and Ironman 3!

I could make a thread in the OT section perhaps *ba dum tssh*
I'm back from seeing it. Verdict:
I liked it, I really did, fook the critics. Affleck was a good Batman imo, Superman is kinda a boring character so all his stuff was eh yeah he's doing stuff I guess. Could have done with some more Wonder Woman, she was kewl, all 10 or so minutes of screen time she had lol. Agreed about it dragging in parts, it really did at times.
I agree, it was fun and entertaining. I don't pay attention to any game or movie critics anymore. Very few are objective anymore and all have some sort of axe to grind. No expectations for Affleck, but I thought he was good as an angry, aging Bruce. But, Crimson, you're absolutely correct about Wonder Woman. If her movie is anything like that 10 minutes or so, it will be great. I really appreciated the fact that it was not corny or cheesy like many blockbusters are. I was entertained, it's a superhero movie, they're not curing cancer for Gods sake.
I've reached my like quota for the day, goddammit.
Also enjoyed Jesse Eisenberg in it, the right amount of crazy aha. Affleck surprised me, plays a beaten down Batman quite well lol. Fight scenes were pretty fun also, oh and the chases too. I wouldn't be big into comic book hero movies but I like a few of the DC characters. I'd pretty much watch any Batman related thing also.
What is this thread about again? Whoops.
These might be of interest to you then. It is the animated version of Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Returns" which BvS borrowed a little bit from (though it did employ some role-reversal switcheroo). It is extremely Batman-centric, so you'll probably enjoy this:
