No reward for War Table missions?

One that I did note was that Alliances: Getting Things Moving is supposed to reward a Sigil of Gamordan Stormrider and Influence, but I got nada. Not even the Influence.
I suspect it might be Golden Nug related. This is the first post-Trespasser run where I synced to the Golden Nug in Haven. My IQ is level 20 now and the frequency of WT missions having no reward has noticeably increased. Not sure what that has to do with sigils and influence, though. If it were just schematics, that would make more sense. If the sole reward was a schematic I already had.

Why am I getting no rewards for some war table missions? Unfortunately, I haven't been keeping track of which ones come up empty. They don't happen that often, but I don't remember any previous run having any that rewarded nothing.

Most of my War Table missions are empty since the Nug, because yes, I already have most of the schematics. (I'm only missing the Griffon Plate Mail, but I'd need a faithful Inky for that and all my Inkys so far are non-believers.
)
I always get the Sigils and the Influence tho, so it's really weird you got nothing on that mission. ![]()

Your Inquisition maxes out at Level 20. You don't get any further Influence for the same reason you don't get XP once you've hit the level cap.
And, as you've suspected, you don't get schematics if you've already acquired them.

there is a mod that increases that though that I found which adds more levels.

not tried it myself yet so don't know how effective it is. I do have it though. As for the problem's your having @papacharlie I suspect it may well be the nug. This was one of the other reasons why I set myself the task of clearing it out every so often as I suspected something like this might eventually happen if I didn't

@sjsharp2011: How would you even clear out the Nug? I thought it was cumulative.
I do it by clearing out my saves on my Origin account seems to work for me anyway. But then in my case after I'm done with my current playthrough. I'm going to be uninstalling and reinstalling the game anyway as I've noticed a couple of bugs popping up recently that don't usually appear when I play and I want rid of them. So will likely do both at the same time.

I'm too spoiled now....I must have Nug access asap. Having decent schematics right off the hop makes up for the crappy mats you have to use until you get to Skyhold ![]()
@PapaCharlie9: Yeah, I think fewer WT rewards is Nug-related. I figure all the ones where I get nothing are ones where schematics were the only reward, like the Grey Warden cache or deal for weapons after WEWH.
@sjsharp2011: The mod for more Inq levels does work. Thing is, I found that once I get to 20, I really only want 1 or 2 more. Still, with the mod you can get all of them if you want.

Just to be clear, my IQ's XP level is 20. The cutoff you mentioned is for the Influence level. My Influence level is nowhere near that. It's like 9 or something.

Ain't that the truth. I went to the Spider Cave in the Forbidden Oasis. No Sigil of the Great Bear in any of the chests, including the quest one.

I even reloaded another save to see if I could coax the RNG into forgiving me. Nope. Fought those stupid endless unkillable spiders twice, for nothing.
I think the wiki is misinformed. Someone just happened to get a lucky drop in random loot and attributed it to the Spider Cave.

If it makes you feel better, I get crabby when I do the Descent and do not get any superb rings of critical chance. I know they are random drops but my last run I got none and I was so crabby. And my current mage is a necro so it's not even a valid thing to want critical chance rings. I just want those rings to have the rings! I did get the 1% heal on hit snofleur leather for her though. So that's something.

I'm sure it does I was just saying I've not tested or used it on mine yet so couldn't really speak much about it. But yeah I do seem to have all the ones I want by the time I get to level 20 anyway. I mostly downloaded iot because I thought it might be interesting toplay with on the odd playthrough. Plus there are some mods for DAI I've never got to work properly I was just kind of saying that I don't know whether it's just going to be a dud mod or whether it will work on mine. But in my experience modding can be a little hit and miss sometimes. Fortuanately though I've been lucky in DAI's case though in that most of the mods I've downloaded work. But that hasn't been the case with every game

True enough....just because it works in my game doesn't mean it will work in yours.
Hopefully it does, if you decide to use it. And, based on what I read in another thread about the epilogue "focus" of the Inquisition being based on which advisor has the most perks, perhaps now I have a reason to add more even if I don't think they are all that helpful in a practical sense.

Yeah I was just pointing out that mod in case they were interested in it. As it is a way to circumvent the 20 influence limit.
