I have retrieved all of the Legion Armor parts and taken the amulet from the reveiled sarcophagus. I went to the Shaperate in the Diamond Quarter but no one wants the amulet... How do I get the legion entered into the memories? No one seems to take the amulet or acknowledge the quest. Is this a bug?

No bug. You need to go to the book of memories that is to your right as you face the shaper. Click on it to complete the quest.

Yes, Realzmaster is correct on that. The armour is for a different quest - in the Dead Trenches. Not sure if you know that, have someone wear the whole set in the room you got the last piece, and you kill the Gangue Shade (or something like that).

On my game the dead cast quest doesn't appear untill the Gangue Shade has been defeated.

I've always gotten the Dead Caste quest and, up until I read about it on these boards recently, I never knew how to get the Gangue Shade--I always thought it was just a particularly cryptic Codex entry! I haven't had a chance to try it yet, either, as I was past that point on my last playthrough when I learned about it. So, for me at least, it's been not only possible, but routine, to get Dead Caste without fighting the Gangue Shade.

Mabey I was just missing some codex entries. In the 2 times I didn't get the Dead Cast I didn't pick up the Legion breastplate so that might be it.

Yeah, the quest for the entry into the shaperate is separate from the battle with the Gangue Shade itself.

Ya, I think as long as you collect all the pieces, you'll get it just fine, whether you fight Gangue Shade or not.

Just go back to the Dead Trenches, put on the Legion Armour and activate the Legion of the Dead relic in the room where you found the helmet.

It's no big deal. No great value to it. But the Dead Caste actually also has a very small hidden 'quest'. Check it out:

I have consistently inserted the Dead Caste into the Memories - just never fought Gangue Shade.... is this on account of not reading a codex entry? Frankly each time I had armor better than the Legion armor so never had it equipped.... or at least never all of it. Humbug - I want the Gangue Shade codex entry lol. Lucky I have a save just before landsmeet starts, I will use that on the char I have prepped for Awakening. Just hope I stashed the armor and didnt sell it to the Dryden armourer.
