I banged my head in approval. AC/DC are Australia's greatest contribution to the world*, and I say that as a man who had a reasonably close encounter with Kylie's arse back in 95. While it left me speechless, it was but a fleeting moment of wonder, while the sight of a grown man dressed as a schoolboy prancing around stage has given me pleasure of a different kind over a much longer period of time. My ex-wife taught his nephew, and said he seemed remarkably normal. The nephew, not Angus. Seriously though, any music collection without Back in Black is incomplete.

 

*Yes, I've tasted Vegemite, Bundy Rum, Burger Rings, Jellybean chocolate and more, and I've even had Christmas dinner outside, consuming fresh produce from Sydney fish market. Musically I prefer The Go-Betweens and Nick Cave, and The Hoodoo Gurus are actually my second favourite band in the whole wide world, but their global contribution is sadly minimal compared to AC/DC.

A few years ago I embraced my inner hipster and started collecting vinyl, got a few old albums and singles of theirs off my uncle. Before you go all "Wat?" on me, anyone who's played the Krosent knows it's one of the most relaxing kits to play. Getting shot? Standing on a grenade? marauder elbow? Seeker swarm in your face?... Absolutely no fucks given, just waltz around with your claymore, rolling a nade here, a headbutt there and maybe a backhand once in a while while you sit back on your couch and sip that beer (or cognac if you are too MLG).

 

Aah this is the life!

This is my favourite post in the four years I've been around this forum. That was majestic. I've just spent nine minutes with my eyes closed punctuating that beautiful music with images of Husks being flung off maps, Marauders set aflame, Cannibals exploding into the air and much more. I even took out some swarmers with Tech Armor! The only thing left to say at the end was, "Ha! They're dead!" It's great to know that somebody else out there truly gets it.

Wouldn't know, man. The pellets went straight through him and tore the hull a new one, creating an airlock and automatically airlocking what was left of him at the same time. It's kind of impossible to separate the two things

Black Sabbath over AC/DC 7/7 days a week. That's not to say I dislike them though. Just exausted on them. Plus I prefer (black/death/doom/Djent) metal over rock. With that being said, Drell adept is totally on par with Kavinsky.

Djent? Lol. I think I may need sleep, but somebody liking djent sounds like the funniest thing I have heard all day. It's one in a very small category of things I can't appreciate properly (Like Rap, and Country, I don't want to hear whining about which girl left which ****** with the dog).
