The Landsmeet is over. You've taken care of Loghain one way or another. The Blight is broken, the Archdemon destroyed. You remain. And you are now King/Queen Cousland. What do you plan to do with your new power? (This question can be extended all the way to 9:42 DA)
What would you do as King/Queen?

2. National Nug Day.
3. Anora's execution, purely in the name of political stability, of course. I'm sure she would agree.
4. Those who make less than one sovereign per month get a 50% discount at the Pearl.
5. Statues of the Hero of Ferelden in every village.

Get the Dwarves on my side by cementing an alliance that means they can call on us to bolster their forces in the Deep Roads with men and women from the Fereldan army, as well as setting up a stronger trade alliance.
Get the Dalish on my side by declaring them the official gamekeepers of the Brecilian forest. The best compromise that could probably be made without upsetting the bannorn, as this allows them to travel and hunt freely within the forest's borders, but withholds any ownership or claim on the land itself.
Get the mages of the Circle on my side by banning all those ridiculous hats they are forced to wear.
Be a better husband to Anora than Cailan was... (which probably isn't that difficult)

Be a loving wife to my adorable dolt of a husband.
Keep Anora out of trouble. She'd make a decent Grey Warden, come to think of it.
Try to find a cure for the Calling. It wouldn't do for Ferelden to lose two rulers at once, especially if there were no legitimate heir.

I'd never have kings in the first place. Loghain had the right idea. He just went about it wrongly.

11. Dissolve the Circle and allow mages to join the new Chantry

Is all my Queen Cousland thinks right now.
1. Do it with Morrigan
2. Then cure the Taint
My King Couslands mindset. He's less focused about his goal then Queen Cousland is.

First thing to do is clean up Ferelden, there must be a lot of Darkspawn bodies around, large part of the city and towns destroyed, must rebuild my kingdom, making new buildings...but need money for that.
i. Tax the Dalish which is now a part of my kingdom.
ii. Legalize lyrium consumation, and tax it. Maybe the Chantry will make a noise about it, but both the king and queen are lyrium snuffers anyway......
iii.Tax everyone who make pilgrimage to Andraste Tomb
v. Improve Alienage and so those City Elves can pay tax
vi. Invite more Dwarven merchants into the city and tax them
vii. Anyone who can pay tax, they are free to stay in Ferelden

I thought marrying Anora only makes you her consort, not a king.
Anyway as King of Ferelden I shall wear green on Mondays and blue on Fridays! ![]()
I shall only eat Orlesian style eggs on Wednesdays, before pissing on the doorsteps of the Orlesian embassy in the morning.
Tuesdays and Thursdays will be occupied by riding around with my mabari hunting down rabbits and fennecs! Ho ha!

Just a brief note: If the situation in Ferelden were a little more realistic, Cousland would absolutely become King. Anora's claim to the throne is only by marriage, which is rather weak. Not to mention she's not a drop of Calenhad blood in her. The MacTirs have only been nobility since Loghain became Teyrn of Gwaren.

Then they'd have to hold another Landsmeet to elevate a Cousland as king, because the monarchy is chosen that way.

Yeah, the Landsmeet chooses, and who is the Landsmeet made up of? Nobles who probably value their rights, and I don't see why they would allow Anora the Crown Matrimonial and not Cousland. What need then for royal blood at all?

Well the only Noble I played was kind of a troll and definitely a sadist so…
Monday: Marry an elf just to cause a scandal.
Tuesday: Divorce her on grounds of “she’s an elf”.
Wednesday: Accuse her of high treason.
Thursday: Have her beheaded for high treason.
Friday: Marry a noble of the realm, preferably one connected to a powerful house.
Saturday: Have any relatives of the previous monarch executed so they can’t press any claim on my throne. Or I suppose I could just have them castrated so their lines end with them.
Sunday: Have Loghain’s body drawn through the streets of Denerim and then quartered in the market. Then give his head to Celene as a gift between monarchs.
Next Week: Work on abolishing the elective system, installing a system of absolute-cognatic primogeniture succession thus assuring my line will hold the throne until the last one is stupid and gets killed on the battlefield. WHY?! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DIE IZSAK?! YOU WERE DESTINED FOR GREATNESS! YOU WERE GOING TO CONQUER GREECE!

Sunday: "I APPROVE OF ZIS." - Isolde being the annoying person she is. I'd have her killed just for being a terrible, horrific mother to Connor and then go and get Eamon a better and more suitable wife then that she-wolf Isolde.

Alright, my turn!
The Thaw: I'd utilize whatever I could from Soldier's Peak and the Circle Tower to expunge the Blight eating away at the land. I'd also make sure that the mages and Wardens get public credit. Then it's time to ask for gold and Wardens from Weisshaupt, and off to hunting the Mother and Architect.
Cleaning up House: Anora either needs to die, or I settle an agreement with her. Every confederate of Howe that was in the Highever Massacre needs to die. Eamon? He's with the Orlesians, and will almost certainly try to wrestle power from me, and also needs to die.
Alliances: Make deals with Orzammar for lyrium (This will come in handy later.) In exchange, I help them set up a Grey Warden outpost in the city and give up some Warden secrets. We both keep it on the downlow, as they not only owe the throne to me, but it will help them regain Thaigs.
Insert Leliana as a double agent within the Chantry. Ask the same of Morrigan for the Orlesians. Revered Mother Dorothea becomes Divine Justinia, who is sympathetic to Ferelden. Offer the Chantry to tell them the location of the Ashes, knowing they will eventually **** up.
Control: When the Chantry does **** up, denounce them, disband the Templars, and create my own order of knights to protect people from magic. Different rules, however. Since my country has a steady supply of Lyrium and Orlais is in chaos, I can actually pull this off.
What I will NOT do: Disappear for plot convenience. Allow my country to be overrun with demons and let someone else do the work of cleaning them up. Wont let the Grey Wardens be manipulated by a Tevinter Magister.
Might list some more later.

But he never cared for power and Ferelden actually my warden doesn't care for anything at all not even himself and his own life.
He is no one like the god of the many faces he is void.
I consider him to be far more complex than all those wardens who just wanted their silly happy ending because they wanted to rid in the sunset with the LI or the crown so that they would feel more prideful with that circle of golden metal upon their head and then run like rabbits all across the continent to try to prolong their life while sending childish letters to their LI and the Inquisitor in the hope to enjoy more their happy ending after that they gambled the world for it.
I don't compare my PC character with this predictable cliché of a wardens in fact my warden never went to search the cure (The Orlesian of DAA and the HoF warden who don't contact the Inquisition are not involved with this quest)
In Reference of being a consort the titles of king and prince are equally valid and interchangeable. From 2:48 to 3:02

Well, let's make Machiavelli (my profile-pic guy) and Sun Tzu proud: firstly, I'd create secular government, nominated by the king to make it completely dependent on me. I'd recruit ministers from middle class and Wardens, not nobility - however, I'd give some prestigous, but stripped from actual power positions to nobilities to prevent eventual uprising - for an instance, I'd make Eamon a viceroy, Teagan a head of Knights Order I'd create, etc.. Secondly, to weaken economic position of Chantry, I'd make lyrium legal and, obviously, taxed; that would make me desirable trade partner for Orzammar. Without Chantry monopoly, Templars loyalty to Chantry would weaken, and I'd use that to banish them; after that, I'd make my own Templars to take care of mages - so that mages would be under my protection; I'd resolve Circle and give land to mages to create "independent College of Mages", of some kind. After that, with loyal Templars and mages I'd just wait to accuse Eamon of treason and unleash my forces to eliminate nobility. Templars and mages would be part of my government as well.
To achieve total control over country I'd banish elves - that could also be useful in preventing crusade against me - and eliminate those, who'd oppose me. I'd also banish every single Quanari and make worshipping Qun illegal under death penalty in my kingdom (I'd give, however, freedom of religion to Chantry). In the meantime, I'd sire a child to ensure my dynasty to last; my wife would be Orlesian, if possible, if not - Tevinterian. Absolute monarchy of Ferelden would be born.
Also - I'd execute Anora and Alistair. If that even needs to be said.
