the servey was nothing new only ask the player about some thing and ask if they will buy the game. we could say that the leak 6 month ago was correct and the presence of cerberus i think too when i read this

Exactly.

That was rather interesting! Good of you to point it out.

But I don't think Biovar has the quads to actually make us the violent invaders. It'd be cool if they did, but they wouldn't wanna rustle all those jimmies.

We're just commanding our Squadron, I guess that means we will have a new  "Council", and other superiors like Admirals or Generals and what ever.

Also, they said we will only be exploring part of the galaxy in this game, suggesting there will be more games to explore the rest of the galaxy.

Maybe that means we will be able to build up our character from being a "fairly humble" Squad leader of some kind of exploration effort to whatever we will end up like..

It will be interesting to see what we will be doing.  Privateer duty intercepting convoys, stealing cattle, and whatever else happend during other attempts to establish colonies.

I'd prefer to be a squad leader... Although I would still want to be like Sheppard, an officer in N7 with tons of experience that superiors often defer to.

Being the Inquisitor in Inquisition was all well and good... But it also got kind of silly.  You were more or less a monarch, yet you are still running around doing useless side quest fetches and silly stuff like that.  Sort of breaks the whole "being a leader" aspect.

The leaders lead... They don't go complete side quests for meaningless NPCs.

That depends on the writing, you can pull anything off with good writing.

Did you know Hugo Boss designed the Nazi SS uniforms? Among other things.

Not exactly the best designer for this subject... I think.

Also, I just Godwin'ed the thread, I guess. If someone else already hasn't.

...And?

Those were spiffy uniforms.

A T Shirt worn by Caligula is still just a T Shirt and designing a uniform is hardly a war crime.

All I know is that I hope they take the "deep progression and customization systems" mentioned in the survey to heart.

I want Inquisition crafting multiplied by a billion.  I want there to be a metric poop ton of combinations of crafting recipes, materials, and gear.

Min/maxing and trying to get the absolute best gear I can build is a lot of fun for me.

I think I just became a 16 year old white girl, because I had a moment there where I couldn't even.

Indigenous people refer to those who are native to the land. This includes white people, who are in fact native to some land(typically Europe).

On top of that, it wasn't just the white people who went around conquering people and generally messing things up. We were simply the most effective at doing it other than the Mongols, but they're the exception to a lot of things in history. It happens, you get used to it.

Many Humans don't have a good balance with nature because we're considered an invasive species, which means we usually end up messing things up. We're kind of a terrible species for everything that isn't us or things we find cute and adorable and want to keep as pets, like cats. The amount of Human groups that actually had respect for the land is actually fairly small. Most who didn't mess up the land simply lacked the level of technology to be able to do so.

When you're going around saying stuff "because it's the truth" it generally helps to have your information correct =P

It's plainly all Africans fault.

Yeah, but it was the apes that ultimately evolved into us.

So clearly it's their fault.

Not on a salami, though. There is no expiry date. Just take tutankhamun's grave, as example. 3000 years is a long time.

That's not true. Every animal and the indigenous people have a natural instinct to develop balance to their habitat and themselves with nature. You never heard or seen an animal or the indigenous people travel all the way to another continent or a nation to kill the inhabitants and take away resources.

Um, yes we have. Locusts are infamous for swarming across nations and continents, devouring any crop and edible plant that is in their path.

Well yeah they're those but they here for a reason. And they only come on certain season to eat up everything but the thing is that nature always replenish natural resources like food for everyone to have, and yes you have parasites and viruses that make things difficult but those things have a purpose and nature symbolizes creativity, balance, life, death, and rebirth.

Humans are an invasive species native to Africa.

That's not true. In our history we never invade a country killing millions of people, we enslaved no one nor converting people against their will, we never bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and we never bring racism and facism to anyone in this world.

But the thing that all colored people have one thing in common: They never spread across the globe to mass global genocide and convert other people to have their culture and beliefs against their will.

That isn't true either.

Ancient sources described Genghis Khan's conquests as wholesale destruction on an unprecedented scale in certain geographical regions, causing great demographic changes in Asia. According to the works of the Iranian historian Rashid al-Din (1247–1318), the Mongols killed more than 700,000 people in Merv and more than a million in Nishapur. The total population of Persia may have dropped from 2,500,000 to 250,000 as a result of mass extermination and famine. Population exchanges did also in some cases occur but depends as of when

China reportedly suffered a drastic decline in population during the 13th and 14th centuries. Before the Mongol invasion, Chinese dynasties reportedly had approximately 120 million inhabitants; after the conquest was completed in 1279, the 1300 census reported roughly 60 million people. The 92 Chinese cities destroyed by Mongols would not appear to account for this population fall, it might account for loss of 45 million people.

Destruction Under the Mongol Empire

When the Mongols sacked Baghdad, at the time one of the greatest cities on Earth, they near completely destroyed it. The women were raped, the great palaces, mosques, and libraries were looted and burned, and between 200,000 and 1,000,000 of it's citizens were hacked to death. The Mongol Khan had to move his command tent away from the city because he was sickened by the stench of death emanating from it. The captured caliph of Baghdad was forced to watch the destruction of his city, and then was rolled up in a carpet and trampled to death by horses, because the Mongols had a taboo about spilling royal blood. It would be hundreds of years before the city recovered, and in some respects...it never was the same.

People of European descent are unfortunately not the only ones to have committed genocide.

Rwandan Genocide

Armenian Genocide

The Rape of Nanking

Mfecane - The Zulu genocide of the Nguni and Sotho-Tswana peoples

The list goes on...

No ethnic group has a monopoly on brutality.
