Or all those yezidi women in Yemen raped, ensalved and forced to convert to islam because they happen to be a different religious minority and then considered for many as less than nothing ? Really, you just have to watch the news on tv to know that it is not true and can't be true.
All humans can be massively violent and brutal at one point of history regardless of their color or ethnic. Some maybe just lack the technology and the power, so it might not necessarily reach the same level ( well, it stil can ) but it's all the same, and it still very horrific. The Rwanda genocide in Africa is one of the most disgusting war ever happened lately.
Anyway, this kind of rethoric is not only false, it's also unproductive. Not sure how we got there.

It would be hundreds of years before the city recovered, and in some respects...it never was the same.
People of European descent are unfortunately not the only ones to have committed genocide.

The Zulu were warlike conquerors who expanded at the expense of their African neighbors. Since when has conquest ever *not* involved atrocities? All conquest involves killing other people for land or resources. Quibble about the scale of the destruction wrought by the Zulu all you like, it wouldn't change the fact that they inflicted violence on other peoples in the service of ruthless self-interest. Sounds a bit like the Conquistadors, doesn't it?

It was enabled through imperialism at first. But they defended themselves fair and square. And many times over. It's amazing how a group can win simple competition so many times and still get looked down on for it.
