Apparently.Hello darkness, my old friend.
Hey, as long as we really are going full retard, I'm in.
Apparently.Hello darkness, my old friend.
Well anyway the point is it's all one big Mongol civil war half the time or something.
I'm sure someone won militarily against Mongol tactics/organization, but at least in the instance they were just "out-Mongoled"
Romans and Greeks have been known as the greatest tactician ever, with a superb military formation that even being used today by riot police, but that cannot handle the Mongols, because the Mongols are the exception... ![]()
That's the reason why those "barbarians" of the east can just roaming freely into Europe in the late Roman era, out of many other factors of course.
The weakened Roman empire give a way to the Arabs to expand, but the Arabs never get into the heart of Europe, just stuck at Spain, during that time called "Al Andalus" by the Arabs, which means "the land of Vandals", who are the Vandals? Wait for it...they are the Mongols....see that? The Arabs only manage to make treaty with Vandals of Spain who were the Orthodox during that time, the common interest between the Arabs and the Vandals giving birth to the Islamic Spain, later ruled by the African Moorish (Berber), the Al Muwahidun or "Al Mohads".
The Arabs didn't manage to get into Europe through Constantinople either, because of the Byzantine excellent military tactic and defense, inherited from the Romans. Muslim Turk who manage to conquer Constantinople and open the path into Europe, why? Because they are wait for it...the Mongols...and they are the exception.
The most wise, clever, cunning and manipulative stock of people are the Romans, even when they have fallen, they manage to rise again in new form, they know they can't do anything with the "Mongols" now known as Europeans, so they use religion instead, and thus giving birth to "Christendom", the Catholic Kingdoms, by making treaties with barbarian kings, like Charlemagne, they provide what the kings want that is "the kingdom blessed by the heaven" and the barbarian provide access to this new religion to spread, the reason is to control and unite the vast land, and unite different peoples of Europe, this is medieval Europe as we know it. And so a new "Roman empire" is born known as "The Holy Roman Empire"...in which actually Roman's Mongol empire
Neanderthals, Mongols, Marmeluks & Byzantines. This argument is silly, if you can breed with it, it's the same species. You guys are talking about culture and ascribing it genetic characteristics, the various military successes attributed to the described cultures are to do with technologies associated with coordination, support, communication and organization. History is complex. I think its great that Mongolia can have a historical culture hero "Genghis Khan" and apparently around 0.5 % of males share a genetic lineage to the Genghis Khans lineage when traced through the Y chromosome but you guys are way over ascribing a causal relationship.
Man could we go back to talking about something I care about, like imaginary blue space strippers, because this is just, just.
There is apparently very low evidence that Neanderthals ever bred with Hom-Sapiens though... it was a point in the article as well, they basically were just this completely separate group of people that never really interacted much if at all in that sense...
But yeah it's crazy... it's not really just Europe even the some of the most powerful Islamic empires as Abbasaid caliphate and Ayuubid dynasty. Iraq was a major cultural capital and such of the world, and known throughout history and such ran into Mongols with gruesome results...
https://en.wikipedia..._Baghdad_(1258)
Which continued on into the Levant
https://en.wikipedia...s_of_the_Levant
Anyway I'm not ascribing anything to anything I just read a lot of wikipedia and watch youtube videos... it's what people tell me that's all it is.
Technically The Mongolians are descended from Neanderthals from the Caucasus Mountains and they are known for to be extremely violent and barbaric in order to survive in the cold harsh environment, and this falls into racial/genetic memory of why they're extremely violent.
lel..

I offer some of the moronic posts in this thread as irrefutable proof for the existence of humanzees.
Hey, not mine. I really do have a "Mongolian Spot". lol

Just let it keep burning. We're close to outright racism if we haven't crossed the line already. No way this goes more than a few more pages without a TOS violation.
I like how this was all caused because I used a Crash Course joke about the Mongols being the exception almost 2 months ago, then somebody revived the thread with some legit history information and now we ended up with this.
Wait you are part-Mongol Straykat?
No... not that I know of. Just a lot of Asians have these birthmarks. It was given the name "Mongolian Spot" long ago... and maybe they once thought we were all Genghis Khan's descendents (lol), but it's not that simple.
Well didn't Genghis Khan have like this huge genetic diaspora or something? Hmm wouldn't be shocked...

He did, but I'd be surprised if he was this prolific.
No one wants to talk about my ass. For shame.
Well it's only partly blue, paint the whole ass blue, stick some tentacles on your head and we'll bang okay.

No, it looks like a small bruise. Apparently it was large when I was a baby.
Anyhow, the Mongols didn't succeed at that because of genetics. But because of their damn horses and skills. If you think you win because of how you were born (speaking to you N7), you're a fool.
Anyway history is all sorts of things worth leaning about.... learned the other day Richard the Lionheart of England couldn't speak English (apparently this was in an AC? I can't remember been awhile since I played that series)
Also, Saladin was Kurdish apparently....

Yeah, he was French in everything except the throne. Richard Coeur de Lion
And yet many Arabs hunt down the Kurds. Never made sense to me.
You miss me? And dude I haven't made this up and I'm not discriminating anyone because of their background. It's based on historical evidence and facts of what I've read and researched, but I think you pissed off @ me because I don't agree with you. If you want to convince me of why I am wrong then prove me wrong and don't jump into conclusions and to think that you know me just because of what I said. Misunderstandings happen.

I'm just being stroppy about Neanderthal genetics being pinned with one particular group, especially the whole "extra violent" thing. Where does that even come from?
Uh. And what does this have to do with surveys, come to think of it?

He's crazy and obsessed with this stuff. Put him on ignore, like me.
Actually, don't... I suppose everyone has to come to this conclusion themselves ![]()
We're all africans anywway, mongol or no mongol.
Oh I just learned another bit! Apparently the "holy wars" were not limited to Europe vs Middle East, it was actually Europe versus itself at times... something called the "Northern Crusades?"
https://en.wikipedia...rthern_Crusades
https://en.wikipedia...Wendish_Crusade
And Original Africans were black as you know because we have the strongest genes and that is why the majority of the world has African blood. Look at Southeast Asia where the majority of Southeast Asians have dark skin and half of them have semi African facial features of big lips, wide noses, and the shape of their bodies. Look @ The Fiji Islands, Hawaii, Papau New Guinea, and even Australia (Was black people there called The Aboriginals) have African roots. Now don't take what I said the wrong way I'm not here to ****** people off, nor do I intend to. I'm just a passionate person. We're all africans anywway, mongol or no mongol.
Don't take my word for it man see for yourself.I'm just being stroppy about Neanderthal genetics being pinned with one particular group, especially the whole "extra violent" thing. Where does that even come from?

Well non-conspiratorially I will say that I am fairly convinced most of the conventional histories handed to us in mainstream media and such were significantly blotted by revisions and such to the point that it obscured the origins, interpretations, genesis of many things.. I am most definitely convinced of that.
If nothing else it's just super interesting because your like "whoa!" Keeanu Reeves style..
Like I just saw some book that suggests the Ancient Egyptians well part of them migrated to England and helped form of the Kingdom of the Britons or something... I mean it's just factually historically interesting. Well if it's true, I mean if it isn't it isn't but you know whateva.
