Mocap actors can't touch each others. Sensors signals will interfere with each other. A producing company we might work with had two boxers shadow fight for mocap tests for a movie. the reels were interesting, but since it's only shadow boxing you need real animators afterwards to give their punches any weight. The legwork was great though.Imagine the horror it would be with a sex scene, the two actors simulating and trying to coordinate one meter apart from each other... And mocap combinaisons, there are few garnments less arousing than that...(groans) Now I'm imagining spunk floating everywhere... yuk

Since we're apparently on a military vessel again, NCOs and Staff NCOs!
All the named characters being officers is silly, and probably linked to the writers not really knowing what NCOs are or do. Ashley was the lone exception (thank you Chris E'toile), but she got rocketed up the chain of command to Lt. Commander in ME3. Traynor maybe as well, as Specialists in the real world are enlisted, but in ME3 she's referred to as an officer by Shepard.

It's more a question of money and technical constraint than shame. If you really want them having actors doing such scenes in mocap and zero-g, I'm sure BW will gladly welcome all your money for that all-important goal.
