Fetch Quest Warfare
Seriously, I hope this game doesn't have 150 poorly made fetch quests like Inquisition.

ok
Same. They were really boring in Inquisition. I loved the game at first but then I replayed origins and DA2 and tried replaying Inquisition again and I couldn't get through it, it felt so boring!!! All the side missions were so damn pointless and the story was boring as well. I hope MEA will be better than that.
Please God no!
Call of Duty is the standard bearer of the RPG genre.
Have you heard? Call of doody is going to be in space this time guise
To be fair, that's one thing that may actually make me take a look at it, if nothing else than for the ambiance.
agreed, it might actually refresh the game and finally give us something that's not the same as the last 30 we've had.To be fair, that's one thing that may actually make me take a look at it, if nothing else than for the ambiance.
I see your 151 pointless fetch quests and raise you 152.

154, and slap in another DLC, this time a Human.
I hope to God ME:A is its own thing and not DAI 2.0.Fetch Quest Warfare

The model of the game is almost surely an open-world game like Inquisition. Hopefull they managed to improve from that game.
Like, Call of Duty is so last year ![]()
Its the fetch quests what worries me. I welcome open-world if done right. The model of the game is almost surely an open-world game like Inquisition. Hopefull they managed to improve from that game.

4/10, weak troll bait.

Yeah, this is one of my worries - an open world is so open that we would have to spend 20+ hours looking everywhere. I don't have the time for this type of wasted effort. I'm currently half way through my ME-2 first run, and there are a lot of medals that I simply will not chase down. I looked up the ME-1 collection of Asari Writings. Masseffect.wikia mentions that this collection has no importance in ME:1, but in ME-3:
" If the Commander obtained at least 10 of Matriarch Dilinaga's Writings during the course of
Mass Effect, along with having retrieved Gavin Hossle's data on Feros and having purchased
the Elkoss Combine armory license, the schematics (of the Crucible) can be analyzed by
Conrad Verner if he was interacted with and survived in both previous games. Conrad's
dark energy dissertation will have an additional 5 point bonus towards war assets."
IMO, a completely valueless and wasted effort. Unless I'm missing something....
If items from fetch quests in ME:A involved collecting key pieces of information, had significant value to the game, and had a bunch of humor (at times) to make it all worth while, then I'd go hunt them down. Otherwise....
EDIT: As I look forward to the fetch quests and assignments in Andromeda, I want to see less convoluted methods for obtaining interesting results. In this instance, too much time was spent by the devs to even think about doing something like this, let alone implementing it into the game. Someone actually took the time to think this sequence of events was worthwhile? It's not an 'Easter egg" bonus from my perspective. It's absurd.
Q. Is it too much to ask that fetch quests have some value and relevance that is more than busy work for a completionist? I'm not mentioning this comment to trash BW. Just hoping that they make better game play decisions.
I heard this rumour that fetch quests are optional! Hm, if only that was true...
Seriously, what's the big deal about fetch quests? If you don't like them, don't do them. It doesn't hurt your gaming experience in any way to skip that sort of thing.

155 and a DLC romance option.
156 and a day-1 $10 appearance pack.
They are optional, or you can buy in game xp.
yeah they are for the most part. While I do hate the QTE's in TR I think the sidequests in Rise of the TR are quite interesting perhaps if they'er done in a similar manner then maybe it won't feel too bad.
