I recall that the Keep wasn't like this, and the icons were smaller. Is there any option I don't see to reduce them?

It's likely your browser is just zoomed in for some reason - behaviour like what you show is expected for some browser resolutions and layouts. For example, something similar happens if you ever view the site on a mobile device.
You can easily change this by holding down Ctrl on your keyboard and scrolling your mouse-wheel up and down, which should correct it for you

Oh gosh, I feel so silly! I just re-installed everything in my pc after a virus that destroyed my file system.
Didn't think about the resolution! In my defense, I must say that it was the only page that looked strange! Thanks for your help!

Even easier pressing Ctrl + 0 will reset the zoom to the default without having to scroll.
