Just started playing last week, Had the game for a couple months and well just go to it.
I have an 11 Healing mage. Works well for almost all situations.
What is the per say expected level cap for this game no expansion added?
I know it depends but since there are no real respawns other when traveling between areas.
So what cap level should i be striving for?

The maximum level is 25. You will probably finish the game between 18 and 22.

My first run through I hit lvl 24 before the final battle. During it I hit 25.

18-20 if the side quests and companion quests are ignored and focus is on the main story only,
