Indeed... invested 601 hours in this game, only to find out that once you update Origin after an 8 month hiatus, your game is *Edited*.

5 Characters, 601 hours of gameplay down the drain, just because EA and/or Bioware can´t get their update servers right. I bought a legit copy of DA:O, und subsequently updated via Origin, going as far as spending money on the Ultimate Edition again. This game was really worth it. So, why can i not play my legitimate copy of DA:OU after Origin updates?

I tried all the suggested solutions in the forum, re-installed twice, did all the **** that´s recommended by the fanboys here... nothing worked. So f you, Bioware, and f you EA. Guess I´ll just quit BUYING your games if all I get for my money is bugs... a kurva anyátokat!

No idea what you're on about.  There's no problem with a "hiatus", as you call it.

 

Simply UNinstall your previous version, (keeping your saved games, of course) then do a fresh install of the UE. 

 

Easy.
