Ashley Williams' ME3 outfit.
Ashley Williams ME3 hairstyle.
Seriously- the soldier bunn and no-nonsense approach was a big part of her charm.
Guess she got jealous when Shepard ran off and showed up with Miranda.

Add another one to the group who thinks Ash was far hotter when was dressed in Alliance regs.
Incidentally... does it even make sense that a military brat and career soldier would decide to wear a uniform that appears to be non-standard, even if it does feature the Alliance tags on it? Vega at least appears to be wearing the undershirt of the regular uniform, but with no-one else seems to have Ash's duds. Did she honestly show up to Alliance HQ wearing what might be considered the equivalent of the N7 hoodie or leather jacket?
The only explanation I can see that could handwave it is that she was off-duty and got called in to HQ before she could change, then when the Reapers showed up, it didn't become the most important issue in the room on people's minds.
At least least Kaidan managed to keep the charm of the soldier look in ME3.
When I got a letter from Thane (my only romance) asking me to come see him in the hospital, and when I get to the hospital the autodialogue forces me to tell him, "nope sorry, I am here to see Ashley".
Additional cringing each time I have to run past him in the hospital, because he had a limited word budget, to chat it up with Ashley to make amends.

The ME3 art book has the explanation:
They decided Ash needed "sex appeal"
Yes, they really said that. ![]()

Well that is a cringe moment everyone has their own meaning of sex appeal.

Yeah, when I saw that I couldn't help but facepalm.
To be fair, ME3 isn't the only game that had Ashley in a non-standard appearance for Alliance military personnel. On Eden Prime in ME1, you encounter her wearing white and pink combat armor. Besides wearing two of the most non-tactical colors imaginable on her combat gear, you see no other Alliance personnel in that gear. The other Marines in the distress call from Eden prime are wearing green armor, and later Alliance military personnel you run into throughout the game are wearing either green or black armor.
I fan w@nk it as Ashley being off duty at the time of the Geth attack and improvising by equipping herself with some civilian's gear, but that's probably not what the game designers intended.

Well, in Foundation the other woman in Ashley's squad also wore white and pink armor... I agree that this coloring is not the best, but as Shep can wear equally strange colors, I'm not complaining.
Really, I just wanted her to wear the same uniform as others. Her alternate armor is decent enough. Actually I wouldn't even complain much about the other outfit from ME3 art book, if only she kept that ponytail.

I chalk that up to most of the armors in ME1 having pretty fuggly designs. (also the pink is supposed to be red, it's Phoenix armor after all. But it just came out pink somehow) I mean, Colossus armor is one of the best in the game, and it looks like fetish wear.
Fortunately, you can put her on something that actually looks cool, like Hydra or Onyx armor as soon as it's available. No such luck in ME3
Ashley wearing the pink and white colors makes her an easy target.
I was referring to Joker's porn collection EDI mentioned.
Yes, all sextillion bytes of it.
Robot cameltoe.

ALL OF THE ABOVE.
"...because that's what humans do." (Arrival DLC)
I play all of Mass Effect 2 trying to annoy TIM, and get what sounds like a pro-human line at the very end. Maybe the point was that some of the Cerberus veneer had rubbed off onto Shepard (maybe?). Still cringe every time I hear the line.
EDI is a three years old AI (Shepard said so). Normally I just encourage EDI but stop Joker from pursuing her romantically/sexually. Honestly, I don't think EDI register the difference.
Ashley poetry..... I almost forget that exist... lol
The whole edibot/Joker relationship was......whatever. When meeting Joker in Purgatory, Shepard can tell Joker to be friends with the thing, but then just before Cronos, Shepard will say I'll protect your girlfriend, if the right dialogue is chosen.
Third, I get why people find the Joker/EDI relationship cringy, but one of my favorite lines of dialogue is from Shepard encouraging the relationship. "Nobody ever fell in love without being a little bit brave."
The Joker/EDI thing could have been really interesting. An exploration into the whole organic/synthetic relationship thing how necessary physical appearance (and capability) may be in a romance.
Sadly, they decided to make EDI into a sexbot and turned the whole thing into an adolescent joke.

Everything after the magic carpet ride to Glowbrat.
From now on I'm always going to call the catalyst "Glowbrat."
The whole exchange with Garus in Mass Effect 3 upon seeing Palaven in flames.
Shepard: "You see that" pointing to a continent sized wildfire on the Turian homeworld "ten times as bad back on Earth."
I have never wanted to punch my game avatar in the face so much before.
Really Shepard? Earth is worse off than Palaven? Last time I saw it, us humans were getting bent over the couch without so much as a noteworthy shot fired. The Reapers took Earth without even losing a metallic tentacle; which resulted in far less devastation than someplace like Palaven, who's people were actually resisting and had managed to force the Reaper forces into a stalemate. I'm sure there's a giant fireball covering the entirety of Europe and Asia, oh wait there isn't. Even more insulting, Shepard says this right after Garus points out that his father and sister are still down there, in said giant fireball.
To make it even more cringe worthy, Shepard's whole spiel is how the Turians need to give up one of the few contested areas in the galaxy, a place where the Reapers have actually been halted in their advance, and then throw all that away so we can try and take back Earth. A planet that is behind enemy lines, has already been captured, and has no strategic value whatsoever.
I thought it was reasonable for Shepard to pursue human interest on retaking Earth considering you're their first human Spectre. It was the most populated planet with the most humans in it and the reapers are harvesting its population. What was so different about this with Earthborn/Spacer Shepard pursuing the Collectors about the kidnappings in the fringe colonies? Fringe colonies that was quite anti-Alliance to be exact. Actually I can't understand why ME3 Shepard, a human, should care about pandering to the Turians, Asari and Salarian politics when in the whole three years, they did exactly nothing for humanity or even to prepare against the reapers? In fact in all three games, you're basically picking at their leftovers and fixing their centuries-old mess that apparently they couldn't solve by themselves (one of them was an entire species who could live for a thousand years.. lazy blue arses).

10 times? Shepard says double that for Earth

10 times? Shepard says double that for Earth
Ah, my mistake on the numbers.
But still, there is no way that Earth has seen double the devastation of Plaven, especially since it fell with practically zero resistance. Plus, the Turians have been slugging it out with the majority of the Reaper armada since the invasion proper began and have suffered far more casualties and destruction of infrastructure.

I think the meaning of the statement is more like, "See this? The same is happening on Earth" rather than, "See this? It's twice as bad on Earth."
Also, the point of gathering allies isn't to head to Earth asap to fight off a Reaper attack. That would be stupid and pointless. It's to do exactly what they do: work together on a big project that has a chance of defeating the Reapers. But, in order to do that, they need resources from everyone.

I'm partial to this dialogue in the Citadel DLC:
