I just remembered another cringe-worthy moment... When Cortez is listening to the message from his husband...out loud...when he could easily be wearing headphones or something of that nature. But no, he wants everybody in the room to hear. Oh, Cortez you attention seeker, you.
I LOVE YOU, BUT I KNOW YOU! DON'T MAKE ME AN ANCHOR PROMISE ME, STEVE!

Kai Leng's e-mail.
To me, that email said something like
"NEENER NEENER! That plot armor script really screwed you over, huh?? Look at your Shep crying because our Kai Leng is so much cooler! NEENER NEENER!
Lol,

The Citadel was really a Reaper-controlled device, but they needed to send a Reaper to the Milky Way to flip the "on" switch.

Guys, we're missing a REALLY important one here.
When Femshep tells Thane she wants him right after he tells her how he misses his dead wife.
Thane: "....."

I...erm...I had always overlooked that. Damn, now the whole plot of ME1 feels even more stupid. I mean, Saren's action don't make that much sense but now?
I'll go buy or make a Normandy plushie so I can hug it.

There are a lot of things about the Reapers that make me cringe...
Like the fact that they're designed to exterminate organic lifeforms, yet are incapable of locking their weapon systems on to a single human target.

- Shepard comparing the Genophage to the FCW
- Shepard acting surprised that Asari can reproduce with each other.

Yep
Like firing vertically instead of horizontally on Tuchanka and Rannoch at Shepard

And yet strangely they could fire at civilians no problem in Vancouver. ![]()

I'd never seen Kelly's dance, I just can't even /facepalm.
My biggest cringe moment by far, almost hiding behind a cushion cause it was all so bad, was Tali singing in the Citadel DLC. In my first run I was femShep and Tali was my best mate, a sister to her in ME2. Then I did ME3 with maleShep romancing Tali thinking it would be cool, but instead I got a besotted 16 year old fangirl. It's tainted my view of Tali ever since tbh.
I like that moment. Tali is not a good singer but still a "cute" moment.

EDIT: Ninja'd on the "Steve!" thing.
Pretty much anything with Benezia is cringe-inducing. "You've always made me proud, Liara. DIE."
That was just the indoctrination taking over

Tali singing was the most cringe-worthy scene of the series. I felt sorry for her VA.
Traynor and FemShep's nevernude shower nookie
Shepard expressing surprise that Asari can reproduce with their own species. Though to be fair, that dialogue choice is optional...
Shepard's moronic autodialogue at the opening of ME3. "This isn't about strategy or tactics! We fight or we die! That's the plan!" That's not a plan, and who wrote that ****?
Jacob Taylor.
"It's a human Reaper!"
"I'm real sorry to hear about Palaven burning, but I need those Turian fleets to save Earth!"
Everything after the magic carpet ride to Glowbrat.
No offense to you personally meant but let's put this stupid **** to rest already. There's a lot of dialogue options Shepard doesn't choose and/or depending on the "type" of character you're playing would NEVER do or ask. I have the option to shoot a guy in the foot, or kill an entire species by offing the last one of them (among many more) that doesn't mean the Shepard I'm playing at the time would EVER ask or do either one of those...just because it's an option doesn't mean ****.
So frankly everyone that calls Shepard a moron for asking that question about Asari reproducing with their own kind are idiots themselves. Unless you actually choose that option (thus making YOUR Shepard that stupid) then it never happens and just because the option is there doesn't mean Shepard would actually ask it or doesn't know it.
Sorry but serious peeve of mine. Accusing Shepard of being a moron because of one option in dialogue is akin to saying the most paragon playthrough version of Shepard would murder someone for fun just because you get the option.
So let's stop with that stupidity already.

Bioware dialogue is meant to be used, not ignored. Why would choosing a dialogue option in this one instance be different from all of the other times we choose a dialogue option, not knowing exactly how Shepard is going to phrase the question? This is like the argument that Bioware doesn't need to make entertaining side content, it's the players' fault for playing boring optional content.
In no case should anyone be asking that question, as it's fairly obvious that of course the asari can reproduce without aliens. But it's especially egregious because we are playing as the pinnacle of humanity and are the spokesperson for our race to the other species in the galaxy. Nothing is going to make the other species see us as unworthy of joining the Council than the first human Spectre asking the most moronic basic biology question in the galaxy.
If the dialogue options had intelligence checks to them, and a Shepard of over X intelligence stat couldn't select this option, then fine. But there are no such stats in this game, so all Shepards should be intelligent enough to qualify for N7 training. Shepard would not have been selected as the first human Spectre if s/he was a moron, no matter how good in combat they are.
