Yes, it very well could be.

What if you ran into an alternate version of yourself?  A version who had made different choices?  How would that make you feel?

It could be a creative way to both poke fun at and really look at the Paragon/Renegade choices, among other things.

It would be really weird tbh, frightening cause maybe I'm living with the wrong choices now or not "maybe" I'm fairly certain that I am, so if I were to see another version of me who had made the right choices then that would be very weird and kind of heart breaking.

Well, it would certainly be better than BvS.

I'm drawing a blank.

edit: Wait, nevermind.

I refuse to even see it.

Sounds like the other movies that director makes. Zack something.

Or don't. They're not much more impressive than the rest of the movie. And Batman is a moronic psychopath in the movie, so **** that ****.

Zack Snyder is a dumb guy who thinks he makes smart movies. Nothing gives away a dumb director faster than the constant use of Christ/messiah imagery and Biblical allegories in stories that have nothing to do with those things.

"Superman is Jesus! But Batman is also Jesus, I guess...! And Lex Luthor is Satan! But so is Doomsday! And also Darkseid...!"

The fight scenes are great. Talk whatever you want about Snyder, and I would mostly agree, but mothergoater knows how to make a fight sequence.

You know why. Because lazy script is lazy. This movie is all about the spectacle, because there ain't anything else to it. The narrative is nonexistent, everything is convenient - just like what you just described. No different than a TF movie.

Like I said, I find the action sequences really - really good, especially the last one with you know who, and the soundtrack just kills it.

But yeah, most stuff don't make much sense when you think about it.

These guys would be on the new earth I would assume.

Kirk_and_Spock_mirror.jpg

Even when not set in the Mirror Universe, Star Trek also gave us almost-Earths such as;

A post-nuclear Earth containing Kohms (Communists), Yangs (Yankees),  with the same landmasses, flags and important documents. Yeah, this is the one in the episode where Kirk is reading the Declaration of Independence in front of a US flag to cavemen... it's a very weird episode.

A world where Ancient Rome continued until the 20th Century, with slavery, televised gladiatorial combat and modern weapons. Also, we learn at the end was only just just starting to undergo a slow conversion to Christianity.

A Earth-like world where due to a nuclear and chemical war, everyone over the age of puberty ended up catching a plague and dying.

A planet that was inhabited by Nazis, waging a genocidal war against a neighbouring planet. Actually, this one emerged due to the interference of a human from the Federation who sought to try to "help" their society by introducing a "benign" form of fascism and it of course spiralling out of control... which considering he was a historian and should have had all of human history to show him that it doesn't work, makes him pretty terrible at his job.

A planet inhabited by tommy-gun wielding Chicago Mobsters from the 1920s. Like the Nazi world, this one was due to accidental interference when the highly imitative natives found a book left behind by a crashed ship about 1920's mobsters and decided to base their whole society around it... as you do.

And yeah, I watch way too much Star Trek...

BvS was filled with a ton of pointless rubbish, like Wonder Woman. I saw the movie yesterday. As a bit of entertainment, it's great. Fight scenes were cool, Batman was awesome (I wonder what his final body count was). I think Lex was also pretty awesome.

But, at several times, I found myself rolling my eyes or cringing.

But this is off topic, and I have only just came off of a week ban.

That wouldn't make for a good story imo..... Maybe it could, but preferably not. The new and infamiliar is more interesting.

We've left the cradle of our galaxy to explore, to find something new and a new home. I would prefer if they keep it straightforward rather than turning humanity into some kind of great conspiracy.

Really? Maybe I'm still just too enamored by Clancy Brown's Lex Luthor, but I found Eisenberg to be extremely annoying and nonsensical. He was more like a scatterbrained version of Jim Carey's Riddler than Lex Luthor. And what were his motivations and goals? I know that's a failing of the script and not the actor, but holy moley.

I'm still not watching it.

Unless it just pops up late night on TV for free, and I'm too lazy to move my hands 5 inches for the clicker.

On another note, I was impressed with the new Daredevil. I did not expect to like this version of Punisher, but it wasn't bad. And Kingpin gets more awesome.
