Or don't. They're not much more impressive than the rest of the movie. And Batman is a moronic psychopath in the movie, so **** that ****.

Zack Snyder is a dumb guy who thinks he makes smart movies. Nothing gives away a dumb director faster than the constant use of Christ/messiah imagery and Biblical allegories in stories that have nothing to do with those things.

"Superman is Jesus! But Batman is also Jesus, I guess...! And Lex Luthor is Satan! But so is Doomsday! And also Darkseid...!"

Mass Effect is terribly guilty of this too, y'know.

Although I try my best to dismiss it in my playthroughs.. but...

I hope not. Firstly, my Shepard wasn't from Earth so I always wondered why he cared so deeply about it. Second, no just no. We have left the Milky Way so lets leave everything associated with it behind, including earth.

Oh, I know. Casey and Mac are not the brightest bulbs. Hence why ME2 has no story and ME3 has a bad one.

Well, part of ME2 is a fun enough story. it's Blues Brothers in Space.

I always figured that;

Earthborn Shep cared about Earth despite being born in a slum because even if they think it's a total garbage pit, it's their garbage pit.

Spacer Shep cared about Earth because they were a military brat, so it only was natural they'd care about the birthplace of humanity and the Alliance.

Colonist Shep cared about Earth because after losing their family on Mindoir, they needed a home that didn't hold such bad memories.

But yeah, I'm with you in that I'm done with the Milky Way and Earth. Let's go someplace new and give us a totally alien environment to play in.

I can see your points with Earth and space born, but colonists born? There are many colonies that Shepard could have thought as a home not just earth. But interesting theories nontheless.
