You'd think that if some character can be fine in space with a catsuit and a breathermask some polen wouldn't be as dangerous.

I now wonder if after that mission we could ask that Krogan if he can share that magic potatoes for some liberty fries (aka as french fries) ![]()

I'm totally digging this. The jetpack footage looks like ME1 movement style
Second footage looks like typical Bioware fail-mocap animation.
Agreed about the UI. It's way too big. UI's in general often are. I hope they refine it and make it take up minimal screen space.
Options to hide part of it and/or all of it would also be nice. I really don't understand why more companies don't do that.
No, no! Don't complain about the UI being too big after they released it unscalable in ME3 for PC. That **** was so small my eyes hurt.

I thought that as well I got ME1 feeling when I saw that part. In the upper part you see the compass too with the Mako symbol and maybe a base-camp? Looks promising.

It's as I hoped. It looks to have enough mechanical diversity that in the case it ends up being a DA:I: Mass Effect Edition it's still better than DA:I because being able to be so into your own character's movement and shooting with TPS controls is so much more interesting in an open-world setting than steering 4 heavy and rigid bodies around. Static environments be damned, but I already think Andromeda looks more organic judging from that snowy area than DA:I did, but this is just my first-impression hype going into me.

I like the look of the armor at least in the jet pack sequence. It seemed a little too shiny tho in the cutscene.

Yeah, give us that surprise jetpack - we waited 5 years for that and never thought we'd actually get that.
Oh. Wait. Frostbite could do that already from the start. Moving in 3 dimensions. I can't wait for the leak in october 2016 - destructable environments. All nice jelly bean surprises. we'll scratch old jelly bean leaks from a dust road with dirt on it - and eat it.

I have a better idea to get the juices flowing. We set up a bitcoin crowsource funding for dev leaks. Where all those that give bitcoins can have access to the freshes leaks. Proportionally off course. The developer that leaks can win it like a lottery. Quite anonymous of course. We can even put it in Tor, to drop all google/apple etc, breadcrumbs. For the salary they get - I bet a good $30-50k spending money for a new camaro will make them reassess the benefit. 30% get's fired sooner or later at the end of the cycle. Those that leak last only win leftovers. The EA marketing department is anyway paralyzed so we might as well get it directly from the horses mouth.

The downside is Frostbite is soleplay EA from the ground up and they made less room for modders. You could do a lot more with their older engine. They used to be pretty big on promoting their toolkits.
Not that that has anything to do with ME. That was Unreal.
I don't know about that look at all the mods available for DAI there is quite a few of them and as long as you have the latest mod manager they're fairly easy to install as well. I was never able to get any ME mods to work and believe me I tried but no matter what I tried it just didn't work even that high texture beauty mod or whatever it's called.. DAI once I'd figured out what was stopping me from getting them to work initially was easy by comparison

Krogan +1
Jetpack +1
M-6 Carnifex +1
Though it looks like the M-8 Avenger has returned to haunt us of ME3s cutscenes guys...

There are many mods for DAI, but they're mostly cosmetic. Hairstyles, armor replacements, new textures... Things like that.

Cough. you probably got confused who I quoted? It's ok - many here sometimes also forget what the topic is or who wrote what. I know Shinobi. The other one Ajensis. These are two different members.
He takes his time responding to you and you give him attitude like that? How odd. But alright, since this is super important and srs business, here are the words of Shinobi:

My body is damn ready.
I love the look of the armor. Hopefully we'll get something like the sleek black armor the choking dude has. But yeah, as others have pointed out, the UI is waaay too big.
Can't wait to see more up to date footage.

Look @ ME3 and the video and see how it looks like the same thing. Only thing us new us the jetpack and that's it. It looks like it's half-ass work on their part. But I'm keeping my expectations REALLY low with this game.
They make a big empty sandbox game that gives you the feeling of playing WoW in space, and you fetch some space**** and collect sapcecollectibles probably. Inquisition space-version.

Looks very good... if ~2014 footage.
Oh okay, just read Shinobi. Hope he's right.
Of course there's several things we could pick apart. The models. The UI. The animation.
But if this is indeed early or early-mid development stuff, I like what I see.
Just, obviously, if they released the game looking like this it'd probably instantly fail haha.

Thank you for re-linking the video for those of us in different time zones.
It may be an early build but that guy's face, the details on the Krogan armour and the shot of the ship all look pretty great.

ITT: People who think the graphics will be massively overhauled in two years.
This is greedy, corner-cutting BioWare we're talking about. The game will be poorly optimized, shoddily textured, horribly animated+lipsynched+mocapped and absolutely shock full of reused ME3 assets.
People need to realize BioWare is already one foot into the mass grave of EA's used-and-abused acquisitions.

Uh, so? You would be too if you had knowledge of the latest version of the game and you were looking at something from nearly two years ago.
People complaining about unfinished and older versions of the game is *exactly* why the marketing team doesn't release any footage until it's ready to show.
