Wait until there's one enemy left in a wave, throw down a sentry turret with a flamethrower and wait for all the little swarmers to scuttle towards you, just to be burned by walking into your turret/their own stupidity.

Yep, TacScan does more damage than Cryo Blast. 
That raises an existential question : is it more dangerous to pass an x-ray or to take an ice cube in the face ?

Yep, TacScan does more damage than Cryo Blast.
Easy, the X-Ray, as long as the ice cube doesn't hit the eye.

Only when the kill feed is mistaken, when nothing else hit them before they die naturally or before the shuttle arrives. So no, not really.

My vanguard loves swarmers. It's a free way to get his shields back, they let him get across the map when he gets into trouble, and they're everywhere.
