EA already has the game face website, so it's possible.

It looked good in UFC 2 so long as the face wasn't required to make any kind of expression.

Unfortunately this is an RPG where the player character is expected to interact physically and emotionally with themselves and others, not a testosterone simulator.

I just want a better CC period I agree DAIs was 100 times better than both DAO & DA2 but the cold hard truth is that the CC in all 3 Mass Effect games has been **** and the only decent thing to come from them was the Face Code option given in ME2.& ME3,And given all the issues the previous CCs had I really want B-Ware to give us 4 or 5 Sheploo quality preset faces to choose from.

All I really want is DA: I's character creator with face code support. You could make characters with that thing that looked just as good as the pre-made NPCs, if not better in plenty of cases. My Merrill-lookalike Inquisitor - pinched from the Inquisitionsliders Reddit, with some tweaks; she ended up looking more like a close relation of Merrill's, which I actually preferred - is still my absolute favourite custom avatar.

 

 

(All that said, some actual body type options would be fantastic... But it's abundantly clear that's never happening.)

I think it has potential, but the technology needs to get there before it's used more often.  It needs to be more accurate and better integrated with the basic character creator.

It's heresy to have one without the other, so I would need to be able to import my voice too.

This is kind of...not good.  If you can't create an idealized form of yourself in the CC then you're either doing it wrong or the character creator sucks to begin with.

Tbh, I see the appeal of the tech, but personally never cared to recreate myself except in Sports and Skateboarding games. Things I actually do... or try to do. Somehow I just go into a different mode with RPGs.

TBH that seems creepy and kind of sad. I don't imagine that I'm Shepard or the Warden or the Inquisitor. I am just playing that role in the role playing game. Bioware games are enough of a power fantasy as it is, I really don't need to see my face on the hero as I save the galaxy...

No one is forcing you to scan anyone in IF the option is there, it's just an OPTION. If you're playing as a female, then you don't scan anyone if that is what you want.
