I'm always up for a good toy spaceship--my many starships Enterprise could do with some company. I came THIS close to ordering the No Man's Sky CE, for like £120, just 'cause of that toy spaceship. (Speaking of price, I'd say my upper limit's probably about £100, depending on the quality of the stuff that's in there.)

Beyond that... I dunno, some miniature figurines/statues might be nice. I own, like, three Disney Infinity figures, even though I've no intention of actually getting the game, just 'cause I really like the characters.

Artwork's always good, too - whether a full, proper art book, or even just a really nice poster - and I'd definitely be willing to pay a bit extra if, on top of a good amount of quality physical goods, they included a full DLC season pass.

I'm honestly not all that fussed about in-game armour/weapons and such, but that's mainly down to my generally preferring not to have fancy stuff - cosmetic or otherwise - just handed to me in games like this--I like working up to it, as long as the progression curve's done well. I find that bonus items can, paradoxically, cheapen the experience to an extent, particularly in the early game.

Fallout: New Vegas is a great example. In the base game, with none of the pre-order packs installed, the early progression of weapons and armour is tuned to really make you feel like a down-on-her-luck wasteland courier, who's just starting to get back on her feet, figuratively and literally. With the pre-order stuff, that feeling just isn't there.

I hate all aliens. I don't see a problem with that.

Sure you don't.

Was there a reason you changed the wording in my post? Supporting one's species doesn't mean hating aliens. Right?

Never once purchased a CE of a game, don't plan to in the future either.

You changed what he said to make it sound way worse....that's messed up.  :?

Not including the game, I'd like the artbook, Ost and acess to dlc. But most importantly the artbook. I'll probably only get it if it's something of a classic though like Last of Us or dark souls.

They should avoid something like "From Ashes" in ME3.

Two games about the Protheans and in the end the last of them is a CE exclusive day-one-DLC? Cmon.

I would rather see a season pass including the first one or two Story DLCs and all the "new hats and spandex pants" DLC, maybe access to closed betas of MP ...

Android tablet with all the codex stuff on it.

Not right away, but have it sync up to your game so it unlocks entries the same as your game. Have it designed like mass effect style and such.

I'm sure BW and the licensed partners will just love your money!  I'm willing to 'pony up' too, but not likely for the CE version. A part of me wants to hold off until the first software patch is released!  Lol.

I would never do it for another game series, ever. :P Not even Rocksteady would get this amount of money from me, or Bethesda. But Mass Effect has a special place in my heart, despite its flaws. It is also a reward for myself for getting a job - when the game comes out, I shall get the very, very, very best edition I can. :P

That's right! Just ask Ashley! It's okay to be cautious until you know you can trust 'em.

I'd really like a nice statue of maybe the ship or of the protagonist and/or a steelbook case.

The two big things for me are the art book and the soundtrack. I can pretty much take or leave most other stuff. I don't really care for any big bulky packaging though. I thought that the CE for ME3 was pretty spot on.

A scale replica of the Ark or at least something physical that I can put on my shelf.  Aside from that, maybe a soundtrack, a unique armor set, and special icon for multiplayer.

CE in game gear
Ship model
Steelbook case w/ digital copy a-la halo 5

I'd expect soundtrack + art book like always but I'd apathetic towards them

Depending on quality of statue I'd say $80 usd- $150 expected price

I much prefer the smaller ones that BW had for DA:O and the ME games than the big pile of junk that was DA:I CE.

Soundtrack, nice case, and perhaps a statue of the ship or something. Most importantly, I want multiple options of where to purchase it. I don't want to deal with Gamestop. Let me pre-order it from Amazon or Best Buy or elsewhere. At least I would be more likely to actually receive what I pre-order.

Honestly, I am just hoping for a game that I don't have to throw at my wall. Give a **** less about the collector's edition.

Am I the only one who wants it come with an actual collector?
