While low-level PUGs can be annoying (I had somebody following me around doing the volus shield-boost thingy just yesterday), I really don't mind what kit they use on Bronze or Silver. We all have to experiment and find new ways to win. Not everybody bothers with the buff / debuff math.

But if a noob is headed to Gold or Platinum they better have their sh*t together. That's where I do get mad. As far as kits go, Juggys don't both me so much. More like any Vanguard, volus, the Fury and the Merc. And a kit that I haven't seen mentioned, the N7 Destroyer. Yeah, he is OP, but I once saw someone who had Devastator mode enabled, and equipped a Black Widow and a Crusader.

... Oh look, it´s the statue of Liberty. And you sure as hell kill as fast as it! ...

Well, the Statue can be quite deadly.

[quote]Give Me Liberty and Give Me Death

Though the statue symbolizes hope and optimism to millions, it has been the setting for at least three suicides over the years, says Moreno. He believes the first may have been in 1929, when a young fellow, turned down by his girlfriend, threw himself from the crown. In 1997, the New York Daily News reported that a 30-year-old man from Senegal plunged 100 feet to his death. "All indications are that it was a suicide," said Manny Strumpf, the National Park Service spokesman at the time. There have been no murders that Moreno is aware of, but there was a 2006 novel titled Murder at the Statue of Liberty — by Manny Strumpf.[quote]

I don't care what kit the pug is using if they're standing in the hack circle.

It's not the kit. It's the player.

That said, any shield boost spamming ************ should have their family tree cut down, chopped into firewood, and the patch of genetic earth it stood in salted.

I don't even bother staying games like that any more. There's still enough to be found or I can make my own to avoid the blowbags pulling **** like that.

It's isn't the character, it is the idiot pug behind it. However, there is a trend for certain kinds of pugs to play certain kinds of kits.

Combowhat now: Paladin, Fury.

I die alot, pls curry: Melee Juggernaut, still dies.

I will never go anywhere near any objective: AIU.

ShadowStrikeAllTheRavagersAndDieWithThem: Shadow.

I will enter the circle at the last second, because it still counts: TGI, GT.

I'm going to stay just outside the circle so I am helping, but slow down the objective so I can score more: Volus Adept.

These are the trends I have noticed, thankfully for me, bad PUGs tend to avoid Drell, Snipers, and most other skill based kits, so those are usually a welcome sight.

Low level pugs running AIU/Reegar or TGI Carrier show me that they at least know those kits can deal out damage, compared to say an adept rocking the Mantis I and Scimitar I on the same kit. That shows me they have no idea WTF is going on. I have witnessed multiple occasions of Fury with both a Javelin I and Spitfire I. Good God, the throw cool down was probably 18 secs.

On the other hand, higher level characters running some of these considered to be OP kits can be annoying, but then I change my mind based on if they are playing the right way. Mainly waves 3,6, 10. If they are helping out with those waves, I could give a flying **** what kit they are running.

I have seen that Fury combo often myself, too. Could it be one troll trolling us all?

Flamer. Geth Trooper Soldier, Vorcha Soldier, Vorcha Sentinel. Did I miss any?

I have an account on PS3 named after a Turian that would like a word with you, his Turians are feeling particularly fat and require some action.

Anything with Dark Channel.

I like my eardrums to not be biotically primed to explode.

My only complaint is people that do not utilize the combos that would completely devastate a horde of enemies. Say like if I enter into a room as edi bot with a bunch of biotics I am expecting you to just blow the heck out of my snap freeze and Destroy them all cuz all I do is prime when I'm playing as her and most people just simply don't take advantage of that and focus on scoring for themselves but if you look at it, I'm helping you score for yourself because I am not concentrating on where I place at the end of the match I just want us all to extract.

Build your character how you want to, that's not the issue. teamwork is the issue for me.

What I hate is when there are 3 adepts, and the fourth pug is a snap frrezer (with fast cooldowns), or a flamer, or an engineer overloading armor like crazy.

Also reegar krogan vanguard. Actually pretty much every kit with reegar. This weapon feels like it is draining all the potentional of a kit...

Snap Freeze detonations are pretty comparable to Biotic Explosions because of their bug. 6+6 Fire Explosions are also good against armour. I agree with your Reegar KroGuard though, I much prefer the Lancer on him. I don't really enjoy the Reegar on anything, I completely understand it draining the potential, I always feel like I am playing badly when I use it.

Still, biotics need to stop b*tching about good Cryo and Fire explosions. I understand Tech Bursts and Ammo based explosions, those suck, but Cryo and Fire can be good.

Wouldn't it be better to just go biotic yourself? Why would you play a tech class in a lobby full of biotics and then complain about under utilization of combos? Unless I'm wrong, you're actually disrupting their biotic combos as well with your snap freeze.

I don't hate any but recently I have ran into a lot of people using Krogans and trying to melee everything. Everything. Then they get repeatedly sync killed... and, despite this, keep doing the same thing every wave. I don't really mind bad players since we all have to start from somewhere but when the player shows no ability to learn at all... that baffles me.

As frustrating as that can be I don't really blame the players using SF, I'd rather blame Biovar for their poor design and implementation of it. Yes it sucks when you play a biotic and a Iwin Paladin comes along spamming snap freeze on everything you're trying to prime for a biotic combo, but that's just how that kit is designed. I play the Paladin myself now and then and in public games I snap cheese everything in sight, speccing out of SF would just be kind of dumb, and no pug is going to tell me which kit I can and which kits I can't play.

QMR, please.

Amusingly enough, I can tolerate the infiltrator and engineer, as there's nothing overtly annoying about them except that they're toasters. I just pretend they're a couple of my hacked killbots or something.

Pug flamers and Puggernauts can die in a fire, tho.

the former goes for the two vorcha with lamers as well. Pugs seem to have no concept of a fire explosion and just spam *FFFFCCCCHHHHHHAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW* for full duration all goddamn game.

oh, also snap cheesers. Literally can't play the game if they're in the lobby without muting the sound, and even then you get screenshake when they stand close to you.

TGI gets a mention, not because the kit itself is inherently annoying (provided you reach the grenade boxes first), but because it seems to be frequented by the types of pugs who ignore the hack to run around nuking on objective waves (because being only 40k behind instead of 50k looks soooooo much better, amirite?)

ShadowStrikeAllTheRavagersAndDieWithThem: Shadow.

It's a nervous twitch. You just can't stop yourself sometimes when you've got a rhythm going.

I reckon you know it too, and that's why you skip it, as I can think of no other rational explanation.  ;)  :P

OT: Don't care what pugs ready up as, but the usual suspects (bad Juggs/Volus) will make me go looking for new partners afterwards.
