Would any one know how a fix or what my problem could be ,  to why my Ageia physx wont run with mass effect 2.
It runs fine in mass effect 1 . and all my outher PhsyX games. I even up dated the phsyx drivers'
my motherboard , video , direct X and so for , any driver could find.

I did find a Phsyx installer on the cd as well.

I have a
AMD phenom 2 965 3.4
8 gig of ddr 3 memory
1tb 32mb cache 7400rpms
4870X2 2gig
1000 watt psu

Mass effect 1  (%100) no vido lag at all

i even install PhysX_8.09.04_SystemSoftware  to the newest driver like it stated on the website.

I'm not sure what you mean by " why my Ageia physx wont run with mass effect 2 " Are you getting an error of some kind?

Have you tried uninstalling it, rebooting, downloading the latest from the Nvidia site and installing it?

If you're not getting any errors, what conclusion led you to believe you are having a Physx related issue?

The seperate Physx cards aren't supported anymore, if in fact, that's what you're using. I know it sucks, I have one too and it currently lives in a box. Besides the onBoard Phsyx proc on the video card is better than the last generation Physx cards.

Remove it, uninstall the drivers (to be safe, all video drivers and use DriveSweeper) then reboot and install the latest video drivers with the included Physx drivers then reboot again and see what happens..

Ageia is part of nVidia now, download the latest PhysX drivers from the nVidia site and you should be ok :) within the drivers you could set the PhysX acceleration to be done exclusively by your Ageia card or shared with your GeForce Videocard (in case you have an nVidia videocard of series 8+)

This is actually very interesting. I installed the latest SLI patch, I am not willing to mess with my Nvidia drivers for numerous reasons. My 2nd card in SLI, none of the clocks will not ramp up to match the clock settings of card 1. I also have a 3rd card for dedicated Physx. There is no activity or usage on the 3rd card for Physx. In DA:O all 3 cards ramp up to normal specs just fine and DA:O works fine with Physx. What gives?

I found out how to get my physx card to work if any one else happens to have the same problem try this

just copy the physxcore.dll and the physxloader.dll in the Binaries folder from ma1 and copy them into the mf2  Binaries  folder

now when i play ma2 the blue light come on

Hmmm, I still don't think that means it's using the card to do the calculations. If you look in the .ini file, bDisableHardwarePhysx=True is set, so the game will only use CPU Physx, no matter what. I tried setting it to False, but the game just sits at a black screen with the menu music playing.

If you fixed your problem, then this probably isn't the solution, but I recalled reading that nVidia recently disabled physx if it detects a non nVidia graphics card. If you do have this problem, I read that you can fix it on this site: http://www.maximumpc..._gpus_run_physx
but I (and apparently maximum pc) haven't tested this, so use caution.
