What would YOUR warden be doing if you had a say on the matter?

Ugh, soo much Kirkwall stupid spreading all over Thedas in DAI.
Once the warden hears that the conclave was blown up which created tons of growing skyholes dumping demons throughout Thedas I would have to come back to help. Kind of crappy for some RP Wardens that Thedas is in so much trouble and the warden doesn't bother to help. Maybe we only thought we could resist demon possession but Kitty actually snuck into us making us the Hero of Ferelden abomination arsehole. Maybe explained in a future game. Maybe the Warden Hero abomination gets to blow up the next chantry or peace conclave. Maybe another of the Second Sin proto-darkspawn magisters is already wearing the Hero's body as their new meat suit.
Figure out why Ferelden seems useless in DAI and help if needed. Pimp slap Allister if needed.
Apologize that the Grey Spawn mages didn't help close the breach. Find out why they were useless. Pimp slap a few for good measure repeatedly.
Find out that the conclave was blown up by a Second Sin proto-darkspawn magister that the Grey Spawn had been hiding for centuries. Find out that Grey Spawn had helped murder the southern Divine under darkspawn control. Find out that Clarel and her Grey Spawn were epic stupid when told they were being tricked by a obviously evil Tevinter mage working for a proto-darkspawn. Pimp slap as needed.
Pass judgement on any Ferelden Grey Spawn if they helped Clarel and went to war against the Inquisition when told they were being tricked by a darkspawn.
Find out why Weisshaupt didn't help close the breach threatening Thedas and how they ignored what Clarel was doing. Find out if they are hiding anymore of the Second Sin proto-darkspawn magisters they can't control and warn the nations of Thedas of the risk.
Find out if any of the Ferelden Grey Spawn and Grey Company are left. Make sure they don't suck at fighting like the Grey Spawn at Adamant.
Research how to kill Second Sin proto-darkspawn magisters and if Grey Spawn are only a liability in fighting them. Warn Thedas.
I like this idea of going around Thedas pimp slapping everyone! ![]()

I'll be honest and say that I am hoping that nothing comes of the Warden's search for a cure as I feel it would remove an interesting aspect of the Grey Wardens and I've seen no reason for it that I'd consider even decent.
Note that I take issue with a cure being found, not the search for a cure. It would only make sense that someone would have looked more than twice for one.
The implication from the epilogues implies to me that it's been cured. For instance, the epilogue with Divine Leliana and a romanced Warden has them spend a lot of time together (so obviously the Warden returned), and basically says "happily ever after" instead of "enjoyed what time they had left".
So I hope they give a cure for the taint the narrative weight that it deserves in the next game, especially if they reveal what happened at Weishaupt. But I have my doubts.

If a civil war is going on between wardens the HoF might be on the oppisition side to the first warden. HoFs accomplishments, popularity and possibly discovering a cure against the taint, makes him/her a threat to the powerstructure and the original wardens.

That is not a proof of anything in fact it was never stated that the cure was found, Leliana didn't mention any success of the warden to the inquisitor in Trespasser which means the warden didn't have the cure and will share the same fate of all the others wardens.

I would love it if they did a South Park remake of DAI. South Park DAO would be fun too.

In 9:32 Dragon, a crack Grey Warden unit was sent to prison by an Orlesian Court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the Val Royeaux underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune.

I think it would be awesome if bioware redeemed themselves for the direction they went after da:o by making da4 about hof and the adventure to end the calling. Not that the mage Templar thing was bad, just I mean gawdammit we all want tactics and hof back so WTF ! Actin like they would lose money bringing back our warden.

Married to Leliana, retired some place, enjoying their well-earned happy ending.
Also, making an effort to include Kieran, sine he and Leli are probably not in the baby-making business thanks to age and the Taint.

Oh is the warden wednesday.I hope that Patrick will canonize the warden death in DA4
I wouldn't even care of he/she died , it would be neat to close it out if they would choose that route. I think it's clear the the hof and grey wardens are the single most bad azz thing bioware has going for themselves so why not use it. Again not that I disliked hawke or inquisitor, but bioware needs to stop smoking and get back on point

The tread is good and the OP idea was great. Please, can we just leave the pro and against arguments about the HoF for the other treads?
This tread was created as a nice way to pass time, don't ruin it people.
My main f!mage Solona Amell
- married her Alistair. She put Anora on the throne because my mage was a selfish woman and wanted her man.
- they went together in Amaranthine and solved the problems there
- spent the next years wondering in the Deep Roads, Highever, Antiva and finally in Kirkwall were they assisted at the Qunari uprising.
- Amell gave shelter to any escaped mage and hid them in Gwaren with Anora's blessing
- when Amell heard about the Conclave she began to investigate too
my Inquisitor in this playtorugh is a f!mae Trevelyan who romanced Cullen
- Amell and Eve became BBFs along with Leli and Josie.
Evie left Hwke in the Fade and saved Alistair.
- after Adamant Amell and Ali went to Weisshaupt and officially separated the Ferelden wardens from the order.
- they came back for Leli's celebration as Divine.
- They found the Cure and live happy in Vigil's Keep.
- much lemons

That's precisely why I truly hope Wardens' business remain on the back-burner until DA5.
On one hand, it is perfectly true that the Warden Commander of Ferelden, being the highest ranking surviving Warden in southern Thedas, should be deeply involved in the Grey Wardens internecine war (otherwise, Weekes & co would have to invent another convoluted reason to keep the character away)
On the other hand, it is clear that the writers have yet to figure out a coherent and believable way to wrap up the Fereldan Commander's (whether HoF or Orlesian) story.
So for the time being, I'd much prefer DA4 to be as unwardeny as possible (just put here and there a handful of mentions that tension among Grey Wardens are growing) until the writers figure out how to tackle the Grey Wardens internal strifes.

Warden internal strife because HoF/Orleasian replacement found a cure and refused to give it to the rest of the order.

I'd totally be for playing as the Warden again in that conflict. And if we can't, our roleplaying will almost certainly be forfeited.
Can i interject with one thing and that is when you have a alive warden and if there is a civilwar going on, having not the warden involved directly into that would be a misconduct from bioware.
Exactly. But they won't, because they have a rule ![]()

Holy crap, do some people just pretend to read what I write, or does it just pass right through their heads without making an impact? Seriously, I'm usually very polite, but I hate it when people not only ignore what I have to say, but then act all self-assured that they know the answers even though no one does yet. Ugh.

My Warden would be the Inquisitor.
That probably wouldn't work out very well. The Warden is basically incompatible as a playable character against Corypheus, especially when you account for the false calling that's plaguing them all at the time.
