You got a Heartstring Bow Autumn? Makes the archer's survivability grow exponentially.
I would not trade Andruil's Gift for anything... it's "da bomb".
EDIT:
Just got all my stats over 80 FINALLY. 80/128/82

Your WP is higher than mine
I am at 164/118/165 I think. I was at 160/100/160 a week ago then I decided maybe I should make them even. I tried not to play rogue or warrior but some treasure room doors are begging me to open them.... I just cannot bring a mage into a PUG game when they already have a mage and missing warrior or rogue.

You know I used to avoid playing rogues a lot, but I noticed not a lot of people like to use them on NM/HB so I started using Luka and SS to make sure we could open all the doors, and now I really like playing them more so than warriors. I struggle to play them now, thankfully I have Templar as I like her alright.

I tried to play luka but I am really bad at throwing those mines. I swear no one ever step on 90% of them. I think someone taught me to throw them at the wall... did it.. and they all landed behind the enemies pounding on me.. LOL... try too hard?

Really? I always get the helium balloon mines, or are they pagan holiday lights? Undecided.
edit: BOOM!
I love the rogues in DAIMP, they are all pretty good at what they do. Just unlocked the SS the other day, she rocks but has no nonverbal emotes aside from jumping up and down like a madwoman.

I see a lot of high level people running Legionnaire using a shield I am not familiar with. On one panel is has like a chess board pattern. It seems to be very popular and I know the people playing have surely got either Mage Hunter or Isatunoll already. Any one know what it is?

Posté 24 juin 2016 - 06:36
I don't remember one with chess board pattern. Usually I only see people use Magehunter, Isatunoll, Knight 2nd, or Wintersbreath.

Hmm, not sure of the chest board but the winter's breath is pretty awesome, especially on the Templar if that's the one you're referring to. You take 50% more damage but do about 15% more attack damage (not 50% like the tooltip says unfortunately). Isatunoll is useless for anyone with the Hakkon 1 hander. Knights second was my first ever level 27 and I've never used it since it seemed useless besides the high armor rating. I was not happy to get that out of the victory chest
I use Knight's second because it looks cool. The random "block for you" is actually sometimes as annoying as it is helpful. Its helpful because I have had it save my life a number of times. Annoying because it has the tendency to block a shot that I needed to block myself (for xp or for guard). All in all I think it's equal parts good and bad.

Too lazy to count my games, but I just loved my stats other day. Finally got hundred all around the table, and snapped screenshot from 101/110/101 stats. Can't get too symmetrical, right?
Getting to 100 was my goal, and now that I got there I feel that game is more fun than it has never been.
Haven't done 250 runs with any of the characters, and lowest counts are with necro, templar and assassin, not necessarily in that order. Still missing some of 250 runs for traveller. Might get them while getting poison elemental. Still missing Hakkons Wisdom and couple higher level weapons. I think I got other Hakkons relatively easy, just about 60-70 NM runs done, all in FC. On the other hand, if my memory serves me right, dagger was only Hakkon that game from dragon, others game from warrior/rogue mission chests. One from chest, can't remember for sure, might have been in one of those special chest, dragons call chests?
Must say that there could have been little more crafting options in MP, just crafted every possible armor just to craft something. And few dragons calls from level 3 rare loot, just to make sure that I sacrifice enough to those mysterious dragon gods that rule the lands of RNG ![]()
Now that many, many players have promoted many, many times during many, many promotion cycles (must read that in certain voice, academy style) new players dont actually learn to play smartly anymore. I mean, if theres someone in group that can revive you in the middle of heavy rain and vortex of swords, how do you learn to crawl behind corner to be revived? Or if one just runs around at stage 5 killing everything (and keeping you alive because theres not anything that has time to kill you before they them self get killed) how do you learn which spots you can use to make your stand and survive.
And why, oh why, you have to take that healing font in every stage, even everyone is in full health? Better yet, why do you take it even someone (some very, very few(and me too)) has just 5-10 seconds earlier crapped that previous font? What can people have against free group heal during hard spot? In FC, if YOU need font, YOU take it, with decent HoK it's not hard to get full health fast and better to save font for real need. Just my thought, might be little alone here ![]()
I decide if I need healing between stages. In old maps just crap the font.
Don't wanna be harsh or anything, but even that my way usually is to do my best for group, I decide the style. Yes, I do kick/pick/wave doors open if I'm damager in group, and leave room for those that wanna clear it if we are speeding through. If I can't contribute damage wise, I collect loot if theres nothing more important to do. I decide when it is right moment to revive, theres no need to spam that "come here". And definetly no need to crawl to hard spot. I might have to wait some cool down (eg. back up barrier with AW and 2 bars of health, fade cloak, ladys wrath and so on) or just takes while to kill enemies that would nullify revive by killing victim instantly, or depending from situation it could be better to NOT revive before next door. There is usually valid reason if I'm not rushing to revive. Or then I just didn't notice only other guy falling

Wow, you and me are so eerily similar to progress with stats, agent completions, weapons remaining, time it took to get those weapons, etc that its borderline strange. Anyway, totally agree with health fonts, especially at higher difficulties like NM in the castle. If someone needs it, grab it. If everyone's at full health, bypass it. In two NM games yesterday, bolters or the annoying Qunari drained my health to like 20% at the beginning of a round. No problem; I hopped a ledge, warped to the font, and healed myself and the rest of the team. I do that often but I've rarely seen anyone else go back for a font and its so easy in the castle.
I've also had people rage at me for not reviving them. I always revive if I can. If I think I could be killed while doing so, than I don't bother until its safe. I don't use a mic and some beginner that some other guy and I were carrying through NM dragon runs got super salty that I didn't pick him up. He's telling the other guy I walked over him on purpose without reviving him and they are both talking back and forth agreeing not to revive me if I fall during the rest of the match (which I didn't
). The fallen guy is just sitting out in the open right next to a whole group of Qunari enemies and didn't try to get to any safety. Obviously I would have been killed from 8x sunder from spearmen and enemy Saarebas floating around if I attempted. Just have to laugh some times I guess ![]()

I think DAI-MP has finally lost its mind.
Like I said earlier, I suped up my Keeper with Hakkon Staff and PacBelt. I started a FC run (Threatening) as I was by myself. I figured someone would join eventually but alas I soloed the whole thing. As it turned out it was Quanri. I get to FC 3/5 all is going well and I get down to one Saarebas remaining. I don't know why or how, but dude would not stop running/jumping away from me. Any time I would get close enough to attack it, he jumped to like the other side of the map! No kidding! Many frustrating minutes later I give up and go open a TR and deal with the Revenant. Try to go get the Saarebas afterwards and the damn thing won't stay still! FINALLY I was able to sneak up on him by sneaking through the hallway at the end of the map.
Shhhheeeshhhhhhhh! Normally my Keeper goes anywhere near a Saaerbas and she's running like hell to get away. I swear I think some developer was screwing with me and probably laughing her/his arse off.

I've made a lot of blunders before and this is just one of them: Have you ever hit the pot button mistakenly? Twice? I have. The more
I did this, the more I realized how much more aware I was of keeping my character alive. It was this blunder that made me a better
player and gave me situational awareness I didn't have before. It also helped me breathe through each zone.
Whereas before I was screaming colorful metaphors each time I got to 25% health. Stepping back and knowing it's just a game will
also help with knowing, and if need be, forgiving and being forgiven by your fellow players is far better than getting angry at them.
Enough preaching. Back to killing and pillaging! ![]()

I played a few NM PUGs with people I have never seen before. Was a bit wary because I didn't know them. So I went in with a Saarebas (but low level, just enough to be able to spam barrier). Turns out they were pretty good and we had some nice solid games. Was nice to see the new faces.
Also had a GREAT run in Peri. When I got to the lobby, I saw two people already playing but no banners. So I was thinking "I'm gonna regret this!" So I take in a level one Saarebas and guess what? The instant I get there, the two people already ahead of me are dead. So I go in to "save your arse mode" and am doing very well and actually clear the level solo. Luckily right at the end another Saarebas joined who I knew. As soon as we get to FC 2/5 the original two die in like 30 seconds and fade. So me and this other person basically do the whole FC run as low level Saarebas. Lot of noise and jumping but we got through it. I don't know it was just really exciting just two Saarebas ripping through all those baddies
And lastly, I am not saying the game "cheats" but, I did a solo run with my suped up Keeper and I get to level FC 1/5 and its Vints. There are only TWO types of baddies. Archers and Mages. AND the Mages are 99% immune to electric. (This is on Threatening BTW!) Lighting that was doing 1000-2000 per strike to the archers was doing 1. Yes ONE against the Mages. Luckily I had a spirit rune and that ice run thingy and EVENTUALLY was able to kill them way between the hoards or archers making a pin cushion out me. Might have been the most frustrating Threaten run I ever had.

As long as the Saarebas is not close to you the only thing is that ring on the ground that may bother you but it´s easy to step out. Next time this happens to you just keep it as active target and hit it with chain lightning until it´s dead. If not using attack cancel the final barrage from staff auto attack can hit even with out line of sight depending on exact location. Standing behind a pillar just auto attack hit against it the final barrage with find it´s way around to your target ![]()
