I have a YouTube channel so playing Mass Effect is no big deal for random people, but just recently my internet cut out and the people were going to come and fix it. Well for some reason I felt a bit embarrassed and found that I could not play in front of people I know. Does anyone else have this problem?
Is playing Mass Effect in front of people embarrassing?

For the most part no, but those romance dialogue scenes can be kind of awkward, especially in ME1.

Yeah I agree, what about things laying around that have to do with Mass Effect? I have a Normandy SR1 on my desk and when random people come by to introduce themselves I sometimes hide it.

lol, I have more trouble playing Dragon Age in front of people (kids mostly) than Mass Effect. Desire Demon boobs is a lot more realistic than Banshees.

Why hide the model? It's just a spaceship lol. I enjoy having my SR1 on the desk. What I really wish I had though is the original Voltron I owned as a kid. I miss that thing.

Well, I did have my boyfriend in the room when I got to Liara's romance scene in ME3. He just shook his head at me for watching alien p0rn. Admittedly, it was a little embarrassing.

yeah DA is a bit more awkward my nephew likes to watch me play with ME it's not so much of a problem as it is largely a shooter and usually most of the awkward sex type scenes in the story seem (if your romancing anyone) to happen late in the game and really that's the only awkward part in the game. In DA however you have sword play blood spraying all over the place when you kill people and all that on top of those sex scenes so it's even more awkward for a 6/7 year old to be watching. I tend to try play something else when an d if he wants to watch me but thankfully he's not around enough to really disrupt my gaming.

I like to play alone for solo game (but love to play with another person on the same room when it's coop games like Resident Evil 5 or 6).
The only time someone saw me playing ME was during ME2, collector ship in the middle of the game, when they try to trap you inside. A friend just showed up at my door in the middle of the mission, I tried to finish the mission when she was here (she actually wanted to watch me playing), it was impossible because she asked me sooooooooooo many questions when I was playing, I was totally unable to concentrate myself on anything (and she yelled 2 or 3 times because she was scared).... I just turned off the PS3 and redo the whole mission when she left XD
I agree, for the LI parts, I don't want to play with someone near me ever... because sometimes I giggle like a teenager ![]()

Not particularly. I dislike having people watch in general when I'm playing though.
