Only to relish myself in the hilarity of the stoopid PUGs.

:(

PUGs are hit or miss, usually miss.

...

:( :(

Not a single chance. I am a loner when it comes to games.

But I hope that people who like it could have fun with MEAMP.

If it's anything like ME3, you don't really have to change that, but it may just be a bit harder fought to make it to the end of the round.

I played it when ME3 came out and that was only to raise my galactic readiness. That was only for a few hours back in March 2012. I posted that I would play some DAIMP, but never did. So I will say I won't try MP for the next game

Just like ME3, it will probably be better than SP so of course.

not me I buy Bioware's games purely for their Single player content. I have no interest in multiplayer

ME3 mp is how I met some dear online friends that I'm still friends with today, 4 years later. We've played a multitude of games together!

Plus, I love the wave-focused trial. It's fun. So yes, I'll be playing.

Yes, without a doubt. Though, SP will always be more important to me.

Damn I thought I was keen with nearly 500 hours and 1089 games between November 2012 and March 2013, but seems I'm more of a noob

In this day and age I think the line between singleplayer gamers and multiplayer gamers is by & large pretty much gone except for the extreme outliers. Being staunchly for or against either at the total expense of the other is nuts.

From my experience generally people who play ME3MP routinely to any significant degree are the biggest most hardcore fans of the trilogy who want to continue the experience long after the final credits. If you only played the campaign a couple of times four years ago it takes some ill informed cheek to label others who embrace the series' mp as casuals/lesser fans. This smug singleplayer elitism which emanates from the 'I won't touch multiplayer with a forty foot bargepole' crowd is embarrassing when we know next to nothing about it and it's likely 2 years away.

I enjoyed ME3's multiplayer in occasional 1-3 hour bursts but if it would up to me personally I would not have multiplayer in any Bioware game because it does not seem necessarily to me. I forget that DA:I even has it. That being said if multiplayer is in ME:A I would give it a go once and a while.

Dunno, maybe. I missed my entry into ME3's MP and I'd probably suck at it, given how much I rely on the pause function in SP. :D

But we'll see, tough to say as long as we don't know what it does. I do hope they'll really keep it separate from SP though, I am not fond of these half arsed integrated MP modes and SP will definitely be my main focus with the game.

I personally probably wont but I fully support its inclusion into the game. i don't need for people to play a game in the exact same manner that i do. I know that many people enjoy MP so have at it. Not sure why some SP gamers want to screw over MP gamers, or why some MP gamers want to screw over SP gamers.

100% agreed. Even if i'm not a fan of ME3MP a lot of people are and Bioware proved that their multiplayer didn't took anything away from the SP. (expect for the galactic readiness bullshit)

This smug single-player elitism which emanates from the 'I won't touch multiplayer with a forty foot bargepole' crowd is embarrassing when we know next to nothing about it and it's likely 2 years away.

Yet another MP thread. I decided to write my opinion about it here.

For me, my interest in SP is not about smugness.

MP is fine with me so long as it does not interfere with SP progression and end-game choices. I prefer SP for story progression, and because I don't have the time for marathon on-line game sessions. SP is ideal for me because I can start it and stop it whenever I want to. That's what I want - it's just a preference issue for me.

For full disclosure, I have not yet played ME-3. I'm near to completing ME-2 (first run) and will begin ME-3 immediately after that with a save-file transfer (provided my Shepard survives). A forum member generously offered to help me go through MP so I can raise my EMS at the end of that game. However, he told me that the MP WA % boost is perishable - that it's value decreases when you don't play it for a while. That's crazy, if true. So I was advised to play MP near the very end of ME-3 in a marathon session, immediately proceeding the marathon-ending sequence. I don't have time for that kind of massive hardcore non-sense or pressure. Perhaps I'll feel differently if I can play ME-3 MP with a kind and patient soul who will teach me the ropes so I can enjoy it, boost my EMS to 90+, and get out of it asap. I want to finish the game, not extend it for another 20+ hours. I hope I was misinformed about the WA boost being 'perishable.'  I am most definitely not going to invest any more of my personal valuable time, and I am horrified that MP was essentially required (I see no other way to describe it) to get the destroy ending. We'll see. I prefer to spend my time with a second game.

I am not opposed to MP per se, and the feud between MP-only and SP-only is ridiculous. And it's not about smugness for me; it's about convenience and individual preference for how I want to play 'my' game. I do hope that Andromeda MP will not interfere with SP or be a requirement. I do hope that MP will be designed so that shy people like me can find an easy way to try it out and learn to enjoy it. I worry about the matching system so that I can find other gamers who are willing to help the newbies learn to enjoy it. It's the smug, hardcore, impatient, hyper-critical, and insulting gamers (supercilious gamer legends in their own mind) that cause me to stay away from even trying MP. I hope they are rare in MP gaming.

Edit: If BW uses MP to progress the story, then I wish they will also offer an alternative SP DLC (at low cost) so I can get the same information and corresponding game play. The thought of fighting waves and waves of enemies for hours and hours with no essential story progression simply does not interest me. I love story, not combat, but I do want MP to be wildly successful for those who love it.

...give multiplayer a try in ME:AMP?

NO!

Not simple enough HELL NO!

Still not enough of answer: NOT FOR ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD!

MP sucks all the fun out of a game for me. I would rather not have to waste my time listening to morons babbling military jargon that only know from watching war movies and trying to tell what to do and failing to help me out.

Maybe? I've never played MP in ME3, I'm not sure I'd like it but I might give it a shot. Mostly I'm just worried I'd suck.
