Of course - the main reason I will be buying is the multiplayer.
(I could never have imagined myself writing that in the past)

A try? Is that a joke? I'm going all in, balls deep if you wanna be dramatic....give multiplayer a try in ME:AMP?
I loved ME3MP. So I bet I'll love MEAMP

No.
For full disclosure, I have not yet played ME-3. I'm near to completing ME-2 (first run) and will begin ME-3 immediately after that with a save-file transfer (provided my Shepard survives). A forum member generously offered to help me go through MP so I can raise my EMS at the end of that game. However, he told me that the MP WA % boost is perishable - that it's value decreases when you don't play it for a while. That's crazy, if true. So I was advised to play MP near the very end of ME-3 in a marathon session, immediately proceeding the marathon-ending sequence. I don't have time for that kind of massive hardcore non-sense or pressure. Perhaps I'll feel differently if I can play ME-3 MP with a kind and patient soul who will teach me the ropes so I can enjoy it, boost my EMS to 90+, and get out of it asap. I want to finish the game, not extend it for another 20+ hours. I hope I was misinformed about the WA boost being 'perishable.' I am most definitely not going to invest any more of my personal valuable time, and I am horrified that MP was essentially required (I see no other way to describe it) to get the destroy ending. We'll see. I prefer to spend my time with a second game.
It does go down, but at a diminishing rate of return. In other words, when I haven't played the game for two weeks, my galactic readiness is at about 70%. When I haven't played for about a day, my galactic readiness is at 96%. (when starting at 100%) So, yes, it does go down, but not that badly.
Also, when queuing up for games, choose "Unknown" for everything and choose bronze. This will allow you to go through some pretty intense firefights (if you're used to pausing) and it'll still give you +3% galactic readiness. Even starting at 50% galactic readiness (which is the lowest it can go), you're still only talking about maybe 4.5 hours to get it up to 100%. EDIT : This is opposed to choosing which enemy you wanna fight, where, under what conditions, etc. This will only give you 1% galactic readiness. (I think)
The reason I say that is the longest I've seen a game go is about 22 minutes. The shortest I've seen a game go is about 9-12 minutes. If you get some of those people in there that just bang 'em out, you should have no problem getting up there in maybe 2-3 hours.

And technique note how they roll the head off the neck to strike.
I think they just enjoy listening to Iron Maiden.
NO!
Not simple enough HELL NO!
Still not enough of answer: NOT FOR ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD!
MP sucks all the fun out of a game for me. I would rather not have to waste my time listening to morons babbling military jargon that only know from watching war movies and trying to tell what to do and failing to help me out.
I agree, MP NEEDS a MUTE. I also agree there are a LOT of twits out there, however adding friends you meet that are good and you get along with, makes for a much richer game experience where you can stay in the world you enjoy (from my experience, i can only play through SP so many times, I think 9 playthroughs gave me everything i wanted and could find to experience).
ME3MP allowed me to continue the fun action based combat, and more often than not, found good players. Played with one of the global top players off and on, (I was only 300 or something in Canada, haven't looked in a while), and many randoms who did not speak English but knew how to play together and have fun.
You can't focus on the **** people. I would have enjoyed ME3MP more if i had a regular group to play with to get up to platinum runs, but I don;t know anyone irl who plays online and likes ME3 ( I hate Battlefield and PVP, but enjoy Co-Op games immensely, I played WoW Since it had started and met some very good friends whom i simply only talk to on FB, but multiplayer games can be great fun. Ignore the socially retarded and focus on your own fun while helping make others enjoy their game as well.
Maybe it's just one has to adopt such an outlook. I try to ignore the purposefully rude/negative people on forums by getting a beer and playing something. No time for that nonsense.
That said if anyone wants to join for some ME3MP on PS3 at some point, i'll fire it up. I love me some ME3MP and meeting new people PSN: KallenX
If I'm at the time game comes out paying 50 euros for year so I can play online games with my PS4- sure. If I'm not- well I surely won't pay that amount of money just to play ME:A's multiplayer.

This. The price of the game should include long term game servers or community hosted/paid for game servers run for zero profit beyond a few peoples income to keep them running. I asked about this before about MEA MP as the ME3MP runs on users hosted games for FREE. Total BS what Sony is doing, this could be farmed out to the community without ripping off gamers. I'd even get involved in a crowd funding efort if there was an in with Sony to convince them to open up. Would probably require class action legal coercion. Sadly, many gamers think it's totally fine that Sony squeezes even more money out of their pockets.
Yeah. I was surprised by how enjoyable I found ME3's multiplayer. Didn't like DA:I's version at all but if ME:A can do something similar to it's predecessor then I'm sure I'll sink quite a few hours into it.
Never say never, but Nope. I don't like playing with other people. I do have The Old Republic and play that occasionally as single player.

yeah same her I don't either really board and quiz games I don't mind playing with others as they're more about what you know rather than how fast you can react but computer games no. Generally it's single player campaign/career mode for me.
Does a bear crap in the woods?
I'm just waiting for our glorious MEA:MP section to open, I got my last Pug thread volume 2 to create. ![]()
Nah, no way, never, nope, nein, njet...
Of course I will. I wanna make fun of pugs and their ridiculous loadouts.
i´m afraid so. hundreds of "wasted" hours incoming... again
(well, cant get "worse" than warframe though
)
You had to say it no? Never heard of Murphys Law? ![]()
Assuming it's again the way in which I get to play as a glorious quarian, I'll almost certainly play it much more than the SP just like with ME3 as long as it isn't garbage from a gameplay perspective.
If I can't even do that, then I'll probably still play it if it affects the SP, assuming I bother to pick up the garbage playing, quarianless game used or something, instead of simply reading about it or whatever.
Nope, I'll skip MP.
Definitely, single player will be my first priority though.
