Somebody on PS3 needs to film me using my venom, I'm able to double tap pretty easily due to practice. 

 

I can say using it in the human soldier will help you practice double tapping

Yes but the charge doesn't provide any bonuses, it's designed to weaken the weapon by delaying the shot; similar to the Reegar, but not self-sustaining. If you release the trigger too early on the Javelin, you'll interrupt the charge.

It's both a weakness and a strength. Weakness is because you can't quickscope with a Javelin. Strength is that you can cancel the shot when you see fit. Also you can dubstep with it and that immediately places it to top 3 weapons
