Mass Effect 2 Enemy HP By Race v2

This is a simple reference, it does not do anything magical at this time like auto adjust to "effective hp" based on a difficulty and level setting and does a little magic as you can enter a multiplier to scale all the hp cells.  It should cover every target in the base game and DLC though.  If I missed one, post here to let me know or pm me.

For the most part, faction has nothing to do with HP.  It is mostly dependent on race and "rank."  If the enemy has the same race and rank, it basically will have the same HP.

What you see on the HUD is a bit different.  It basically gives you FACTION RANK for most enemies, or it may just have a name if the target is special from a plot perspective.  The rank description is what is important here.  I have listed "aka" for aliases of units that use the same HP but a different name and I put in a few Boss ranks that you never see since all of those units are named.

Just find the race in the left column, then search the ranks (or aliases) until you find the right one.  The one exception is the Feral Hunter (Shotgun).  He is actually the same as a Turian Trooper.

Also enemy weapon mostly doesn't matter, except that typically weapons are static for a race-rank combination.  There are a couple exceptions, like Feral Hunters who come in three weapon varieties.  These should be noted.

These values are best used for Insanity, because at the very least basic protection layers change based on difficulty.  At lower difficulties they are non-existant.  On Hardcore, the basic protection is 75.  Insanity it is 150.  This is based on the EnemyShieldBonus variable AFAIK.  I didn't look at all the health values, but for common enemies they are the same across difficulties IIRC.

Use the "Make a Copy" to save yourself a copy, then you can edit the Chart Scaling Multiplier to one of the values in the Insanity list if you want to use it to show "effective HP" for the purpose of theorycrafting.

Has very basic calculator instead of cell scaling.

Very nice.

We should also make a table with the damage scaling factor from lvl 1 to 60 for insanity  to go with this.

Also - I know YMIRs from the protect the crates side mission (Aria patriarch reward ?) only have 2000 shields and armor. No clue why they are "weaker" than the other YMIRs..

What I wanted to do was put a field in the bottom where you pick the level and then it auto scales all the fields, but I would need to read up on google sheets formulas and crap to do that.

Interesting info on those YMIRs.  I guess I need to add them.

Yeah actually besides not knowing how to do that with the sheet, that needs the damage scaling formula to work.  If you have any ideas on what that is, would like to see it.

I haven't needed to solve multiple equations in a long time, but I am not sure what the form of the equation is even going to be.  I tried a simple form but can't get it to work for the numbers I have for Level 1, 27 and 30 at the same time.  Which then gets into the issue of how accurate the numbers from testing actually are relative to what is being spit out in the game's formula.

If the only variable is SHEP's level for set difficulty (insanity) there is little need for formula. Measure the value for every Shep level. (use console to level up and give grenade ammo to make it quick ?).

Shep LVL 1

Loop:

shoot heavy wpn vs health (record damage // scale factor for lvl)

lvl up Shep once

if Shep level < 31 goto loop

(optional) ..Then you could even plot the values and see what function that might resemble ...(optional)

Will go through all the levels I guess.

Added a simple calculator to the sheet.  Use "make a copy" to edit the fields.

Have updated the sheet so that you pick a multiplier at the bottom.  I am not a spreadsheet guru, so I don't know how to just make a fancy dropdown list of all the multipliers.  So you will have to type it.  As always, make your own copy first, then start editing.

I'm not savvy enough to know if the numbers are correct (they do seem comparatively correct though), however, I did notice a slight issue.

If I am reading it correctly, Klixen are listed as having Shields and Health, however, my experience in-game is that they have Armour+Health. Everything else appears to be in order though.

EDIT: Ooops, realized I might have sounded a little ingrateful by just pointing out errors without giving thanks, so... thanks for the hard work :)

^no big deal, that is supposed to be armor.  I must have dragged the field around.  Shouldn't take long to fix. Should be fixed now.  Also froze the left column just so it is a little easier to look at things while scrolling.

Yeah I had done that on the previous one, but just forgot for this one.
