[Terminus Echoes]

I've played the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 2 more than any game in the franchise. But many years later, I've purchased all three games for my very powerful gaming PC, and just started the second game. I was very excited to begin one of my favorite games, but when I donned the Terminus Armor, I noticed that the armor texture was very low resolution.

 

The helmet was fine, but everything shoulders-down was awkwardly pixelated. It can get distracting.

 

I was hoping that some texture mod would solve this problem. After spending a few hours installing this nightmare, I booted up the game to find... no change in the Terminus Armor.

 

All other searches have turned up fruitless. It's as though there's no fix for this small problem.

 

I generally wear the armor from the beginning of the game until after Horizon, and I'm filming footage for a video I'm producing, so I'd like to have it look as good as I can manage. If there's any solution someone knows of, please let me know.

You're either going to want Texmod to change in game textures temporarily or ME3Explorer (which has its own engine for ME2) to change textures permanently. I highly recommend reading Ottemis' tutorials if you consider permanent changes to the game with ME3Explorer as its quite a bit more complex than Texmod.

 

Also, read this thread. There are some ME2 mods here as well. Also, also, Texmod works better if you make or use a batch file.
