help!!! dlc weapons are missing!!!!

Just finish downloading & installed all the dlc's and received the
private letter regarding the Normandy crash site quest, Zaeed quest, incisor rifle, inferno armor, & collector rifle and armor..

i found both armors in the captain's cabin, but cant seem to find both
rifles in the armory:?

.... are both rifles class specific or am i missing
something???

any insights are greatly appreciated...

If the class you are playing does not have the specializations to use the weapons (IE if you are a Vanguard, you do not have the specialization to use an Assault Rifle - which are what the DLC weapons are). But you should still have access to them in your armory because you can equip them for characters that have the AR specialization. If they are not in your armory when looking at your teammates loadouts, then it is possible a teammate has already been assigned the DLC weapon.
