I'll admit I'd really like to see what the world (game) would be like if The Veil was brought down and the Evanuris released. It can even be a reversible shot-through-time scenario.
Other than that, I don't care if Solas lives or dies, so I hope you wind up happy, Kat.

Nah, as a humanity defender and human supremacist, I'll not only kill that dirty elf, I'll also desecrate his corpse with a wig. Yes, I'll put his head on a pike in front of Skyhold, while he wears an adorable blonde wig.

If he is a boss we can fight in DA4 then I am going to have all my companions throw jars of bees at him, I hate that arrogant, racist, condescending, superior, genocidal maniac.

Batboy needs to die, everything happened because of him, and now that he still wants to eradicate the world, all the more reasons why we need to have him answer for his crimes.

Everything that is wrong with the world can be traced back to Solas and the Ancient Elves. Solas is responsible for the Fade, the destruction of the Elves, Corypheus coming to power, and every single death caused by Cory and the Venatori. That bald Nosferatu looking Elf has a lot of blood on his hands, and a LOT to answer for.

Like there was a choice at the end of the DLC there should be a choice in the next game. As long as it's not a choice like what you get with Morrigan or Alistair if they don't get their ways, then I'm alright with it(wah wah wah, you didn't choose me, "I thought we were friends!" ><).

A couple of my Inkys love (platonically) the old fart. A few are indifferent about him on a personal level. The others really can't stand him, and as the player behind all the characters, I tend to not like him, but he is certainly not a dull character. Well... actually, he is. He's boring as hell to hang around and have a conversation with, but he's had an interesting life.

My main, Alec Trevelyan, considered him to be a good and trusted friend, but once he learned the truth, and once he confronted him and learned the full truth from the horses mouth, and what he intended to do, then he felt angry, betrayed, and horrified. Alec will do whatever it takes to stop Solas, because that elf is an irredeemable monster.

I imagine we're not going to anyway. Regardless of whether your Inquisitor chose to redeem or "stop" him, Bioware will probably write up a weak redemption plot point for him in which he sacrifices himself to save the world and then the characters applaud him for his heroism because the bar is set so low.

Well, given the lead writer's recent admission at a recent convention, I'd say it will go down something like this...

It will be Solas to kill the shemlen since the age of these monkeys is over.
He's the one who allowed humans to take Thedas and now is time to change their history once again.
