10 years of decomposition after sacrificing her life - although, 10 years of blight decomposition can't be much better, except she would be living through it. So, yep...think she dodged a bullet and went to meet her mak...or...elven maker...or whoever the **** is beyond the fade.

She upgraded from corpse to skeleton.

Wait, wasn't the body taken to Weisshaupt to be laid in a tomb next to Garahel? So, maybe...it could be preserved with magic?

Since I changed my main world state recently, Mahariel grew to be very dutiful to his role as a GW a though he loved Morrigan, he didn't travel with her through the eluvian and had a human baby with her (no DR), so he remained warden-commander until that quest to find the cure for the Calling in DA:I.

My warden Akiza is an ultra fanatic of duty and of the grey wardens she consider herself to be the gem of the grey wardens and her dream is to become first warden.
Her attachment to the grey wardens is so high that she even killed Alistair for wanting to desert them.
She wanted to have the honor to kill the archdemon but left it to Loghain because she understood that the order still needed a grey warden like her(plus the redemption story was amazing) and ten  years later she is probably working to restore the griffins while couldn't care less to follow Morrigan clue.
Bioware has to stop in pretending what my warden is doing because she is currently out of character since the quest to cure the calling does not fit my character who would have never avoided her duty for ten years in this way.

She is grim and yet determined to find the answers on Blight 'cause she doesn't want to die hearing the Calling nor does she wants that fate for any other Grey Warden. She has some leads and she follows them with great determination. She knows that something is terribly wrong and she keeps correspondence with Hawke and Inquisitor. She is not giving up.

No such magic exists. Best you can hope for is mummification, which the Nevarrans practice.
