In the warden's keep dlc, we go to warden's keep (obviously) we have the choice to side with Sophia or a blood mage (I guess everybody knows that). I chose to side with Sophia. I did not kill the blood mage yet but I know if we kill him we will have loot that will enchant our blood mage power and to drink some substance. What I want to know is if I am not yet a blood mage (I am a mage), do I get this armour and get to drink the substance that makes our blood mage power stronger or do I need to save, leave warden's keep, get the spec. and come back to this dlc.

it will give you new abilities. as for the blood mage spec, you can do that whenever you want too. those two things are not connected
