I even advise..in-between you playing multiplayer....go back into single player... Start a brand new Insanity run with a level 1 character......that will help you remember how this game works...as well as rekindle your love for this game. Welcome back to mass effect 3 multiplayer.

I second this recommendation. I'd never done a Vanguard Insanity run in SP, and I'm doing so now due mostly to crappy internet. I'm ready to assault the Illusive Man's base, and I've got there without levelling up squadmates and giving them Predator 1s. I haven't used the pause function at all, and have only really struggled with the Grissom Academy Atrium early on, and the three Primes on Rannoch. I'd rate the overall difficulty as being comparable to a Silver Collectors game on Jade, with Devices.

Just stay away from that SP junk, that will make you quit the game, it is horrible, ruins the experience for me.

Ignore this man. He is a fool, and should be eaten.

Then got a match in dagger, and it was hovering around 10 for goo dbits of it, 20 when i was lucky...

30 is playable... 10 to 20.. not so much.

And taking breaks making you better may be true for shorter breaks, but combine two years with the fact I"m at the age where twitch skills have tapered off...
Still fun though, I'll probably play off and on for a while (unless I find a bunch more maps where i only get 10 fps).

Frames are a crutch! I'm at the age where I can't remember if I ever had twitch skills.  :P

I only just became aware of Fallout 4 dlcs this morning, I dusted off my PS4 last night to play a little and there they were. Yep, I threw my money at Bethesda, I'm in danger of getting sucked into Fallout again. Cool story sis, yes it is a cool story.

I saw you were playing. Has Preston heard about any Settlements that need our help? Garrus still everywhere? Marcey still whingeing? Let me know if the feckers ever fix the feckin thing and I might give it another shot sometime. It had potential, but overall I think of it as the worst game I've ever played, all the way up to level 82, because of the glitches and i n t e r m i n a b l e  l o a d i n g   t i m e s.  Not to mention the utterly shite everything else.  I regard ME3 MP on PS3 as completely glitch-free if compared to FO4, and those c*nts are never getting another penny off me until they employ game testers instead of getting us to do their job for them. Game of the Year my bollocks. It astonishes me what passes for acceptable in the gaming industry. We are, collectively, a bunch of fuckwits for putting up with it. Cool rant, bro  :P

Why would Bethesda employ game-testers, when they can get people to pay them to do the job, and fix the mistakes too?

(for those still keeping track, the Skyrim Unofficial Patch team are still hard at work.  Skyrim came out in 2011)

You think that my threat of never giving them another penny until they do won't sway them?  :o  ;)

Seriously though - old code, old graphics, old loading screens, old structure, old ideas, old 5-star fanboys, old everything. They should be ashamed, but instead they're rolling in money laughing at us all. Welcome to the 21st Century!

I find Automatron quite ok. Those Robots sure know how to keep a supply line alive, unlike some settlers, that are fully decked in Modified Combat armor.

And thanks to mods, Wasteland Workshop is , with the exception of arenafights, atleast for me redundant. But both still managed to suck me in

Welp, I only just started Automatron yesterday, I'm still collecting robot tracking pieces. Enjoy it so far, modded dat robot something sweet, she's a wrecking machine! :D

Spent too much time fiddling with the workshop dlc tho, so far I've caught me a gunner, a housecat   and a Deathclaw. My plan is to create a Jurassic Park settlement where only a few people will stay to farm and it will be patrolled by Deathclaws. <3

Made a start with one so far...

Spoiler

Gonna catch some more, just have to find some bear meat. Also still have to create a fight arena cos this is a thing lmao

Back on topic, I only came back to this MP last month after a year? long break, the rust is real!

Aha, played plenty of Skyrim too back in the day, was buggy too, just expect this reality whenever I play a Bet game. :P  I enjoyed FO4 tho, thought the ending was very meh tho.

As for Preston yes, he is still as annoying as ever, Marcy too, therefore I'm preparing to collect materials/enemies. My death arena must happen and those two will be my main attractions. Seen others do it, I'm unoriginal tho so I'm stealing it.

Haha that's epic - that's what I meant about great potential. I just should have waited till it was fixed before paying full whack for it, but my Bethesda experience was pretty limited before that. As I said, once the patches are near double figures I might give it another go, but good luck in the meantime.

Ahem, Crim plz  :P

... You know why it's like that?

Because their games are so effin' awesome that they can afford to do all that and the majority of the people on this planet will still drool at just the thought of a single new game in either the TES or Fallout series  B)

Guess we scared OP back into retirement.

I'm still here. Haven't had much to add to the conversation, especially now that crimson detoured it over to Fallout 4.

Still toying around in silver, thinking about trying some gold here soonish.

And slowly being reminded of all the bugs... like invisiible enemy units, sound disappearing until you find another host, etc...

See? This OP guy is actually playing now that he got back, not just reading about it, like us. :)

Hm, on that note, I'll go & get a few more games in. ME3 MP, none of that heretic Fall Off cräp or whathaveyou.

Exactly. You're not supposed to call people windowlickers anymore, but really, some people can't see the wood for the trees. Or in the case of Fallout, you can see the wood, it's just the copper or ceramic or cement that's missing. But as long as your MePhone can fit into your PipBoy Replica, woo-hoo! Somebody just shoot me...  :P

Haven't played the older fallout games, never got into them but I did play a **** ton of skyrim waay back. Honestly I was surprised that fallout 4 has mostly the same mechanics as skyrim just with less melee, more guns. Also the loading times are abysmal, really bethesda!

The upside is that it is a time sink for occasionally playing then and now. The availability of mods on pc also make it a lot more fun. Some of the side missions are pretty fun as well, like the Silver Shroud one. But overall it's definitely not GOT material, not even close!

Bear meat is easy to find if you know the spots where they definitely spawn.

If it weren´t for mods I would have shelfed Skyrim after my first PT. The same would have been even much more so true for FO4. The dumbing down of the dialogue, sorry I meant so say streamlining, really is total and utter BS. FO4 is not a Fallout game, it´s The Elder Scrolls: Boston. If it weren´t for all the nudemods, erm I meant bodyreplacers, yes, that was what I wanted to say, and all the "aesthetic" armor mods (#totallynotaperv), I would have uninstalled it right away. Just waiting on the CK for questmods to really become a thing, though I feel that the voiced PC will become a crutch at times.

No mods (yet?) on PS3, but you made me laugh. One of the things I did to keep things, um, interesting, was to set up an all-female team of farmers at the Sunshine Co-op. There's one of the dark-haired character models that I consider much prettier than all the others, so I had at least 20 of 'her' running around in underwear, which happens 'accidentally' when you try to put armour on some of the standard clothes. It is quite hilarious to see my harem all going to work/bed at the same time. I thought I would have grown out of this kind of behaviour, but it seems that if you're the type of guy who found entering 58008 into a calculator and turning it upside down funny, there's little hope of maturity ever being reached.  :D

What is this "maturity" thing you speak of?

I may not run nude mods or anything silly like that, but I DO tend to prefer female team members, and ALWAYS play the female option. Why would I want to look at a guy for 60+ hours? He's rarely shapely enough for that.

I started FO4 as a male, but couldn't continue after my partner commented on how uncomfortably tight my blue trousers looked. I think we both preferred watching a female lead character, although I must confess I made for a very bad mother. And I mean that in both senses.

As for ME SP, it's FemShep all the way, and in 3 I always look forward to rescuing the scientists so I'll have access to the Kassa Fabrication leg armour, which is sexy as all hell, especially along with N7 chest armour. I make no apologies.  :D And if it balances things out any, in 13 trilogy completions, I believe Kaidan has outlived Ashley on 11 occasions, because even cartoon boobs can't make up for that amount of whingeing.

In MP, all my female humans are specced for melee in preference to their male non-meleeing equivalents, and I prefer the female Quarians over their male counterparts. All Quarian female and all Asari games are right up there with the most enjoyable things in the whole MP experience. As I said, it seems unlikely that I'm ever going to grow out of this sort of behaviour...  B)

Don't expect a game as large and non-linear as Skyrim to be easily bug tested. That's the unoffical Patch team is still hard at work years later.

I make my women the badarses, and my men the not so mean ones. For instance, Novaguard is Female, Charge+Shockwave+Incendiary ammo spec is male. Soldier, female gets grenades and adrenaline, usually with two big guns, like Typhoon and Widow (Although lately I have been experimenting with Harrier, AR definitely helps it), male is a SLIGHTLY less badarse cryo concussive build (BF3 is no-AR Carnage and Grenades EXPLOSION EXTRARDINAIRE, ahem, I mean he is a Soldier, none of that fancy... who am I kidding, everything dies in FIRE AND EXPLOSIONS).  I also totally understand the female melee thing, same vein. I also tend to enjoy playing evil females in games like this and DA, though I tend to default to all the sarcastic/joke options in DA2, because it is funnier.
