Looks like they don't like to talk a lot about Mass Effect ![]()
Guarantee a trailer will be in that one-hour press conference.

I'm sure that we will see MEA at EA Play, but sometimes i get the feeling that EA don't valorize Mass Effect as much as their other franchises.
Sometimes I wonder why EA bought BW to begin with since it seems that EA doesn't particularly like RPGs.
It's not that Electronic Arts doesn't "like" rpgs, but they stupidly think those are games that aren't worth putting effort into, at least as in the other genres which are lacking anyway.

EA bought Bioware because they make money. They don't care about the type of the game if it sells a lot.

Not sure how you're coming to that conclusion. EA have consistently released games in a wide variety of genres. In fact, I can probably name at least one solid EA title for every major game genre, RPG included. The company cares about profits, not typecasting themselves.
If the kinds of RPG you want yielded high profit margins, EA would be making them. Of that, you can be certain.

EA is super secretive with all their franchises lately. We haven't seen anything from Titanfall and don't even know what the new Battlefield is. And those two games are supposed to be out this year.

Andromeda opened EA's confrence last year, can't really get a better slot than that other than closing.
I'm sure they will showcase Mass Effect Andromeda at Sony's conference aswell, just as they did with previous games at Microsoft's.

Ain't EA still in bed with Microsoft pretending it didn't pick worse lover for this generation?

I'm sure EA wants to hedge their commitments and bets. The N7 video was also posted on the Playstation Youtube account and not on Microsofts. Thus, I think it is likely that EA is aligning Mass Effect with Sony this generation (which sucks because I associate it with Microsoft, since that is where it originated!)

It hardly 'originated' there in the way Halo did or Sony's core franchises do at Playstation. Bioware was not an upstart dev and wouldn't have any issue getting another publisher, maybe even EA, to publish Mass Effect. Same goes for Rise of the Tomb Raider. These games would've been developed and published regardless, they don't really own their existance to Microsoft

Mass Effect originating in the same way as Halo or Sony's exclusives is not at all what I was implying. I was simply stating that Mass Effect was originally a Microsoft-platform franchise, and it has up until this point been associated with Microsoft and its consoles. In fact, games like Jade Empire and Star Wars KoTor also released as console exclusives for Microsoft consoles (in these cases, the Original Xbox). Many of the titles, like the original Mass Effect Trilogy also were featured in Microsoft's e3 press conferences aswell.
I don't see where it says they won't be showing Mass Effect: Andromeda. They don't go into any detail about what will be shown, other than Titanfall 2 and three EA Sports games. And the only reason they mention Titanfall 2 was because a teaser trailer was released yesterday.

Maybe thats why the are making BW making action games instead of rpg-s.

Three possibilities, if ME:A material is shown
1.- New concept art and a possible reveal of another MW galaxy race
2.- Another trailer video with a 3rd MW galaxy race companion (ie: Asari, Salarian...)
3.- An actual Andromeda game play video.
Item 1 is meh, imo. Interesting only to rabid fans.
Item 2 is more to my liking. The video would certainly show us something new. Perhaps, even confirming some info from the leaks or a new alien or some old ones. Be as it may, expect to see to word "REPRESENTATIVE" while you watch the vid.
Item 3. Well, now, this one will grab everyone's attention followed by much speculations in these forums. If combat is shown would it confirm new combat mechanics, difficulty, Biotic Charge and secret stuff?

If all they will be showing is concept art and another teaser at this E3/EAPlay at this point who-ever is managing this project wants to be taken out back and shot.

EA has a full plate of games for 2016 year. They need to market their summer and fall (ie: Titan 2) games. Expect an onslaught of marketing hype for their soccer (men's FIFA) and women's FIFA (this fall), football (Madden) and golf (Tiger Woods?) products. I suspect that the 2016 game releases and their marketing will take precedent over a 2017 game.
EA PLAY will be held in LA and the UK at the same time.

I only hope that they received our feedback and ideas into reality.
Like Elcor romances and dextro-amino sweat as a natural performance enhancer?... I'm sure they're looking into it.
Here's hoping for a trailer that lasts longer than 2 minutes this time.
I doubt they "valorize" it at all.I'm sure that we will see MEA at EA Play, but sometimes i get the feeling that EA don't valorize Mass Effect as much as their other franchises.

It's taken them long enough to even understand how they're made.
I might not like DAI, but at least it wasn't rushed like some FIFA game.
