Hello everyone,

It's StarFlorge,

So here is a build that many people have requested, which is the build i use for my hits of over 500k damage. It still works as a great solo build and even a build for a warrior in a team bringing many things to the table, with buffs and the potential to destroy anything.

I hope you all enjoy it, so here it is:

Cool. I've always been curious about Champion dps builds.

Never played one btw.. it worried me that they were cunning dependent. With axes no less. I hate axes. :P

I've done a 2H Champion play through and you don't need Cunning.  Your Inquisitor gets +10 cunning from the mission in the Emerald Graves, and you can get plenty of Critical Chance from the Axe of the Dragon Hunter, Mask of Grand Duchess, Varric, Vitaar, etc.  High crit + Flow of Battle = frequent invincibility from Walking Fortress.  I love the Champion spec in this game.

The axe is really what bugs me. I'd prefer a build be weapon neutral. What kind of warrior relies on any one weapon? Plus, swords are sexy. And a warrior looks lame as hell with those masks.. let alone one by the grand duchess.

I'm totally serious. Petty though it is. It's like they overlooked the simple idea of an asskicking warrior, with martial skills (rather than mystical skills), who can kick ass and not look goofy doing it. Funny that they chose this very image for their box art.

I'm glad it can be done though.

Well, you can craft for crits too. I've experimented with putting crit-focused tanks in medium armor to get the right slots.

You never have to go a certain weapon. In this i was using a sword not an axe. Usually ill use swords cause of the crafting slots are better than those of axes usually. The weapon you use changes on what you style of build you want in DA:I there isn't really a go to weapon for any class.

I guess I'm a bit misinformed. Good to know.

Go any sword or axe .I bounce in between sullevin and chromatic all the time depending on the flavor of the day and what looks good with the armor I wanna wear at that moment. Eye candy > stats. At the end of the day, it doesn't make a difference that skill can't overcome . That's solo on nightmare w/ trials

I'm the exact opposite... There isn't a lack of skill that gear can't overcome, even my tendency to repeatedly fat-finger the wrong ability. :D

I always go for whats best for my current build. The stats are very important on many builds but not all of them, so i can understand the eye candy :)

But yep i go with the weapon that gives me the stats i need.
