I love San Diego. The food sucks though. I prefer living in San Diego, the pace is slower than LA, and I don't have to curse in traffic every 5 minutes. Still, I love LA since everything is close to where I am, so I don't have to drive 5 minutes just to buy anything.

LA is worst big city in America not named Detroit. The city layout sucks, the traffic is worse, downtown is filthy, and most of the people you'll meet live up to vapid Hollywood stereotypes.
Anyone who visits CA should go to San Diego or San Francisco and avoid LA like the plague.

The 3D ride will end with riders being dumped into a pool of green jello by a bratty child, to in the words of one EA exec, 'simulate the ME3 ending experience.'

I keep harping on my husband to take me and my daughter to Disneyland. He thinks 3 is too young to enjoy it. We live in the Western USA and it takes 14 hours of driving to get there, or an hour plane ride.
I keep harping and harping, especially since the wizarding world of Harry Potter is now in California, and the Mass Effect ride is coming.
But I don't forsee us going until the Star Wars part of Disneyland is built, and not so busy, and our daughter is older. So probably 3 years.

Canada has Justin Bieber and Celine Dion, they can't have everything, leave some for the other countries.

The Wizarding World is cool in LA, but it's nowhere near as cool as the one in Orlando. It's not even half the size in LA so it's basically Wizarding World Jr. I would say skip the trip to SoCal for Florida instead if you just want to visit amusement parks.

Never been to San Diego, but San Francisco is eh. I mean, the city is pretty and all, but other than slightly more eccentric old folks and super-aggro homeless people, there didn't seem to be a whole lot that was very interesting.

Huh. Super-aggressive homeless people brought a variety of mixed feelings to mind, ranging from unease to sadness to annoyance and back to empathy. Then I thought of Band-aid Nose Man from the recent X-Files reboot.
