I never happened to see a topic on this, and figured it would pop up eventually... maybe I just missed it.  But I've waited a long time and I'm finally bored enough to write this down.

The prediction manifests in the song called Saviour Machine... the entire song is like a blueprint to the Reaper/Space Brat motivations... right down to a super computer being built to solve society's problems, then deciding it needs to wipe out humanity to solve said problems, lines like 'I need you flying, I'll show you dying is living', 'my logic says burn', 'I can steal every mind' and an emphasis on minds being green (haha).

President Joe once had a dream
The world held his hand, gave their pledge
So he told them his scheme for a savior machine

They called it the Prayer, its answer was law
Its logic stopped war, gave them food
How they adored till it cried in its boredom

Please don't believe in me, please disagree with me
Life is too easy, a plague seems quite feasible now
Or maybe a war, or I may kill you all

Don't let me stay, don't let me stay
My logic says burn so send me away
Your minds are too green, I despise all I've seen
You can't stake your lives on a savior machine

I need you flying, and I'll show that dying
Is living beyond reason, sacred dimension of time
I perceive every sign, I can steal every mind

Don't let me stay, don't let me stay
My logic says burn so send me away
Your minds are too green, I despise all I've seen
You can't stake your lives on a savior machine

I mean, if you're gonna steal... steal from the best.  So mission accomplished. ;)

Perhaps. I've always thought Starman reminded me of 'The Catalyst' & ME3 ending:

There's a starman waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He's told us not to blow it (crucible)
Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
He told me:
Let the children lose it (Destroy)
Let the children use it (Control)
Let all the children boogie (Synthesis)

Nope, not even close. But I can't blame people for not listening to Starbrat.

David Bowie was a sick Reaper F---- Just search up what he did.

He also loved Hitle-

In 1976, speaking as the Thin White Duke, Bowie's persona at the time, and "at least partially tongue-in-cheek", he made statements that expressed support for fascism and perceived admiration for Adolf Hitler in interviews with PlayboyNME and a Swedish publication. Bowie was quoted as saying: "Britain is ready for a fascist leader... I think Britain could benefit from a fascist leader. After all, fascism is really nationalism... I believe very strongly in fascism, people have always responded with greater efficiency under a regimental leadership." He was also quoted as saying: "Adolf Hitler was one of the first rock stars"

You have to be brain-dead (or just a run-of-the-mill contrarian) to not see the connection. A super AI is created to solve a society's problems, but decides the most efficient way to solve them is to destroy/assimilate its creators.  Pretty simple.

This theme often comes up tho. Just think Ultron from Marvel comics. He was also supposed to be a saviour to Humanity, but he saw that humanity was the problem, and needed to be wiped out.
