Hi all, as this is my first post here!

I have a huge problem. I've recently played through the entire trilogy with a paragade Femshep (more paragon in me1 and 3, more renegade in 2). I've done almost everything in me2 and 3 (side missions, collecting, everything) got the best ending, all upgrades and all. Also most of the side things in me1. Played as soldier.

Now, I cannot bring myself to play any other game than Mass Effect Trilogy (don't know why really). So I've decided to replay the game. But I just keep banging my head on the wall. I just play for 15 minutes or so, and go looking for something else to do... I want to play an Adept and make some other decisions during the playthrough.

What do i do wrong? Is it too early to play again? Or what? Or maybe you can recommend any other game to keep me off ME so I will be ready for the next playthrough soon?

I usually only play my canon Shepard. When I try to make a different one with different decisions, I lose interest rather quickly. It just feels wrong to me to play a different story, it feels fake. Maybe it's the same for you? Maybe if you played more or less the same way you did the first time, you would feel more passionate about it, since it's the "real" story for you, the way it actually happened. Or I could be completely wrong.

If you're looking for a game similar to Mass Effect to play for a while, the obvious choice is Dragon Age. It's also a Bioware game and it's basically Mass Effect in a medieval fantasy setting.

Also, welcome to the BSN!  :)

Welcome to the forums!

As mentioned before, Dragon Age is a fantastic alternative. Scratches a similar itch, but still a number of differences to keep things fresh. In my own case, one of the main driving points that lets me play multiple playthroughs are the romance options. Of course, some are better than others (Jacob please) but it's still a new experience. There's also going with different choices, but more often than not it's just looking at the other side of the coin. At least with romances, there are plenty of sides to check out. (And you better believe I'm checking out all those sides.)

Switching up the classes also helps. My current playthrough involves my playing as an Adept in ME1, something I usually wouldn't dare do. The idea of a minute-long cooldown on my talents was off-putting, but after giving it a shot it really is entertaining. Switching things up in a number of ways could help. Yeah trying alternate choices adds variation, but I know in my case all it really does is affect a few extra lines of dialogue. It isn't enough to drive me on. Also, as mentioned before, perhaps you're not one for trying different alternatives, and that's okay too!

If neither option works for you, I really do suggest Dragon Age. It might sate your Mass Effect urge well enough until you're ready to come back to it.

I usually play the trilogy for an entire weekend, If i don't finish I play during the week, and when i finish I leave it alone and go play WOW, or some starwars battlefront, then come back to Mass Effect after a month or two.
